  1. What? I get the impression you think you're disagreeing with me, but I don't think you are.
  2. Seems to me Marrone was the worst Bills coach ever to not get fired. Just think, he'd still be running the show if he hadn't walked out on us New Year's Eve.
  3. I cannot imagine any team will be willing to go $3M on Spike at this point. That Pats** don't have that available, either. I surmise he'll need to swallow his pride and take much less or retire. He is an outstanding leader and still a good player, but he will need to come off the field too often for that kind of money at this point in the offseason. His best bet may be to sit and wait for a team to become needy through injury or suspension.
  4. Well, not to be obvious, but it clearly looks like a deflated football.
  5. What the hell are you talking about? You blame Whaley for EJ? You don't like the McCoy trade?
  6. Therein lies the problem. Offering comparisons that don't at all compare shows you're not looking at DeflateGate for what it actually is. It isn't about the air pressure in the balls. It isn't even really about competitive advantage. It is about a team (maybe just one player and a couple staffers) that knowingly broke a rule, lied about it and even attempted to stop it from being uncovered. Tom Brady stood up in front of everyone and laughed at you, me, the press, Pats** fans, everyone. He thought he'd get away with it. It didn't even matter to him whether he needed to do it or not. He did it. He lied. He deserves and has received league discipline.
  7. This action equates to taking the 5th. Unfortunately for Tommy Boy, that right is not extended to non-criminal matters.
  8. I predict Brady gets eight games. He appeals and loses. He then retires. The end.
  9. For me, my outrage isn't with the Pats**. My outrage is with the league, given they've allowed Brady and company have some very real, unfair competitive advantages over a long period of time. That said, the Commish and Troy Vincent could go a long way in fixing that now. We shall see.
  10. Michelle Girardi gave some hints while on the John Murphy Show about a month ago regarding the top 100. It seemed clear she was saying McCoy was the highest ranked Bill on the list and Clay didn't make it this year.
  11. The various talking heads on ESPN really aren't attacking Shady on this. They are saying even this perception is harmful for Chip Kelly. They are taking some subtle swings at Rodak, wondering out loud why the story doesn't contain follow-up questions and answers. Either Rodak wasn't wise enough to pursue this more or he chose not to include whatever additional answers he did get. Either way, very bad on Rodak.
  12. Nothing wrong with that opinion, but that's not what the rules are. And everyone involved were very clear on the rules. In fact, Brady helped craft those rules.
  13. My prediction: Tom Brady retires
  14. No way McNally still works for the Pats** as of right now.
  15. I know McCoy is in (not a hard prediction, I know), and Clay is not in this year. I believe our entire D line will be in this time around.
  16. This is exactly what I've been thinking throughout the player agent acquisition phase of the offseason. Do not forget the crowing jewel was Clay, ensuring there is no defense capable of matching up man for man when everyone is healthy and on the field. Rex aimed to stockpile the players he knows the defense has to account for on every play. He knows full well this offense will take more sleep away from opposing defensive coordinators than any other offense in the league. Possible. But if it is true he attempted to trade for Tyrod last season, it seems unlikely. Roman has the very real opportunity this season to prove himself worthy of a head coaching position. I have to believe he joined the team with the understanding his opinions would be respected. I believe they will come to a consensus. I get the same feeling and have so since early on. That doesn't mean I am hoping Tyrod comes out on top, but I believe he will. I look forward to seeing how it all turns out.
  17. That's a good thing. The more players jumping in, the less they all mean. Rex's trip to him stands alone and has to carry a lot of weight.
  18. How dare he hang out with friends who just flew in with the sole purpose of seeing him. I have a feeling this is not the last photo we will see in the coming week(s) of Collins with other LSU alum.
  19. He has been in no way "implicated" in any murder. Saying so is libelous. Collins said today through his attorney that he was not the father.
  20. Senior National Writer for FoxSports.com explains
  21. Just recently hired by the Panthers, the former Bills special teams coach is taking medical leave to deal with an undisclosed medical condition. Once a Bill...
  22. Doubting this means too much. Who would be more important to you when making such a pivotal decision: some friends who quite likely won't be in Miami for very long or the coach of the Bills who will be around for at least the life of your new contract?
  23. Here's to hoping Rex took Collins and his family onto the private jet right after dinner and they're all in Orchard Park this morning waiting for the BTI to open.
