  1. I'd take that bet. Taylor had one, maybe two less than stellar plays in the entire 1st half against starters. Agreed. EJ deserves a roster spot. I think he still has real potential. Usually the 3rd game is something of a dress rehearsal. I think, given all these injuries to our skill players, that may not be the case for the Bills this season. Still, the decision needs to be made sooner than later on who starts at QB.
  2. EJ's nice drive there does not change Taylor's play in the 1st half.
  3. Time for Rex, Thurman and the D for pay back.
  4. Negates the sack. So coaches need not look at that one.
  5. I faced this problem in a professional setting. There are very accurate devices team security can use to detect and find such bugs. If this problem is real, which I don't doubt, the suspecting team should do what it can to uncover it.
  6. Right up to the stands: https://twitter.com/PatDoneyNBC5/status/633797341896572929 Suspensions?
  7. Theatrics: Shady not really injured. Will remain big mystery right up until he takes the field in the opener, rushing for 200 yards over the Colts.
  8. FYI: Ray Rice wasn't playing all that well when he left football. Now, he's been gone for a while. He isn't coming back.
  9. MRI forthcoming. Hoping just a strain.
  10. Bad pass by EJ. Badly behind WR. But was confident pass.
  11. Hogan is not going to make this team.
  12. All the better for the Bills IF our starter is even better than that.
  13. Come on...you only signed up for The Stadium Wall a year ago! Many of us have been here for more than a decade. Haha.
  14. Incorrect on both counts. EJ said something that markedly departed from what he's been saying since the beginning of the QB competition. That is newsworthy. The Carucci article was opinion-based. This Warrow article is fact-based. Both articles did not pretend to be more than they were.
  15. My point is that the problem is much larger than you or your reputation. It has become cultural.
  16. Come on, John. Readers all over the place have lost the sense of journalism. If they don't agree with what you're reporting, you must be a muckraker. If you write what they want to hear, you're a tremendous reporter. The cable news networks are to blame, serving up entertainment packaged as "news", mutilating the intelligence of Americans.
  17. Oh, there's a QB competition?
  18. Friday night showed us something different than the narrative the media and even many here have been pushing for a long time now. Our three QBs are not scrubs. Each of them showed they were superior to the Panthers' 2nd and 3rd string defenses. Tyrod shined the brightest, but Cassel and EJ held their own in their own ways. If EJ loses out, which I think he is on track to do, it doesn't mean he is a bust. He has NFL ability, and he could still start elsewhere. It just happens that he was caught in a terrible situation and now is competing with a couple of guys who benefited from great situations. EJ always had a higher ceiling than both Cassel and Tyrod, but he isn't going to reach that ceiling in Buffalo. Timing is everything, and the timing wasn't right for him. I am not comparing Favre and Flacco, but when talking about why Rodgers had such an advantage that EJ didn't, it is perfectly fair to include in that conversation that Tyrod had a great opportunity to develop behind a Super Bowl winning QB.
  19. Demonstrating zero situational awareness with that comment. Over Joe Flacco? No way Baltimore was making a switch for anyone. especially not a guy with no NFL game experience. As for the first part of your comment, moving the chains is all that matters. There is no figuring out a QB with that much speed and moves. All the counters to a highly mobile QB come with serious risks elsewhere, which the Bills have the talent to exploit. Bingo. He was running with permission last night. I hope we see less of that in Week Two so we can get a better look at this passing attack.
  20. Ah yes, the same person fighting to have the Declaration of Independence edited.
