  1. Boys2Men (or whatever his name is) already "reported" earlier today that Shady was out, citing his/her unnamed source(s).
  2. Williams just needs to learn to put two hands on the ball at the point of contact. I am quite sure they've mentioned it to him a time or two this week.
  3. McCoy is "day to day", per the AP. http://pro32.ap.org/article/ap-source-bills-mccoy-day-day-hamstring-injury
  4. Where are you hearing that from?
  5. You don't make a trade for a player at this point in the season unless you really believe that player can provide a legit improvement in our chances of at least making the playoffs. I am not sure there is a such a need, at this precise moment, other than maybe at WR.
  6. Seems Shady is OK. I'm more worried about Felton, at this point. He's also a difference maker.
  7. It is rare to have three top-tier minds work together in this way, putting individual egos aside, for the good of the group. I've been wondering if Dennis Thurman would stick around once Rob was brought on. Seems they've struck the right balance.
  8. Anyone know why the Bills Radio Network (read: WGR) didn't air the players post-game interviews live? Note: They did air Rex's post-game press conference.
  9. Likely said by Jests fans about the Bills when Sammy went on IR.
  10. I'm going to leave out my personal feelings about his protest, but know that it has caused a great deal of distraction for him and more importantly his team. I believe Chip Kelly resents that. So Chip makes this move knowing he wins either way. He either will be seen as smart for making the move and generating new momentum in a win, or he acquires politically safe reasons to cut or at least permanently bench Kaep after he is picked four times Sunday. Here's to hoping it is the latter of those possibilities.
  11. Sure, they should trade a few first-round picks for him. Although, seriously, how could they even consider that being that Tanny is going to be a $20M hit on their cap NEXT season?
  12. Not getting overly excited about the past three games. As the players keep saying, "one game a time." Still, it is getting old hearing that they were fluke wins, ugly wins or close games that were just clawed out at the end. The margins of victory were 15, 16 and 11. Over those three games, the Bills trailed just seven minutes and nine seconds! The Bills now have the top redzone defensive in the league.
  13. Definitely not in the pocket. This took place 20 yards behind the LOS and on the opposite hash-mark from where the play started. Tyrod was effectively a runner at this point.
  14. This was part of an unheralded, defining moment Sunday. A freak, dumb play like this has derailed the Bills far too many times over the past years. Instead of allowing it to start crappy momentum, this Bills team shook it off, clawed their way back, ended up getting the first down and eventually a huge touchdown!
  15. Glad we're not facing the Pats* with that crew.
  16. Some the press conference Sunday made it sound like they might still expect him back this season. I am not sure that's possible rule-wise even if he recovered.
  17. Funny. The Ravens' PR team over hyped its players' comments, making them sound more intense than the interviews actually were.
  18. I love Buffalo, the Bills and the dream. Go Bills!
  19. Listening to Ravens radio coverage this morning in Baltimore. The fans and radio guys were not happy with the final roster moves, complaining they cut loose promising youth in favor of too many older players past their prime. Seems the radio hosts believe the Ravens front office has a need to win early rather than build for the long haul.
  20. "Just go" sounds uncomplicated and likely undisciplined. I hope that's all the guidance the stinkin' fish's defensive line is given.
  21. The Ravens have a lot riding on Week One. They feel they've recovered well from last year's terrible start (2-7) and many injuries, but they have to prove it. There is a good chance a pair of rookies will be trying to protect Flacco's blindside on opening day (fourth-round pick Alex Lewis at LG & sixth-overall pick Ronnie Stanley at LT). Stanley has been a beast this preseason. The last time that happened Frank Reich was sacked nine times as a Panther in 1995. Flacco has looked strong. They are going to attack on the ground via running back by committee. Excellent defensive personnel, for the most part, especially their linebacker corps. The Ravens lack depth at o-line, tight end and safety. Any dings there could really hurt. They are quite strong on special teams.
  22. There should probably be a serious one-game suspension.
  23. It is all about putting big bodies on Tom Brady's neck.
  24. Has there every been a draft invitee who went completely undrafted? I am pretty sure that won't happen in this case, but it seems like a possiblity at some point, especially with surprise last-minute tweet attacks becoming a thing.
