  1. That video is suppose to make us feel down about Peterman? Ha! And it reminds us how great it is to get Jones.
  2. I don't understand why he didn't grab his college number when he came to the Bills. No one else has it.
  3. We kept our four tickets. Third year in a row.
  4. He was a 1st round prospect and pick for a good reason. The team knew about his need for surgery but picked him anyway because they felt he was worth waiting for. Those decision makers are all gone now, but I still expect big things from him this season. https://youtu.be/Qn_bQctE5UY
  5. Quite possible he'd have been selected in the 3rd round or so. He has good size, excellent hands, can fight for the call and seems to really like blocking downfield. I think our WR corps is set barring injuries. Here's some good tape on him: https://youtu.be/DrHU0ct-_fM OR...he doesn't get signed and there's nothing to see here.
  6. I don't typically worry about the possibility of a Bills player doing great.
  7. When is the last time we had a blacked-out game? Years? Season ticket sales are at an all-time high despite owning the longest playoff drought in the league. I don't recall Russ ever making threats. Media speculates, but in the end the team stayed right here. And that's what actually counts. Additionally, I have season tickets and love the stadium experience. St. Louis wanted a championship, too. They love football as much as our region. But they lost their teams. Twice. Jacksonville fans want to win, but that NFL franchise cannot fill even their tarp-covered stadium.
  8. I love how Stone and Hapner just went silent for quite a bit at the end. They knew nothing needed to be said, and that was the best way for those watching at home to experience what was happening at Rich Stadium. Announcers these days would never do that -- they are too stuck on themselves and don't have that discipline.
  9. Of course the team keeps him. Like him or not, there really is no disputing the fact he was and remains key in keeping the franchise viable in the WNY market. Just continue keeping him out of football decisions.
  10. No way! Trading down never worked for the Pats*.
  11. It's funny Haley is still the guy being discussed on this thread now that Joe said the Steelers coach in question is Butler. I didn't know much about Butler, but he looks impressive -- 14 years as the linebackers coach, coached and eventually promoted to take over for our buddy Dick Lebeau and then actually improved the defense. I see an article that says he turned down other teams in the past while he was the LB coach so to stay with Lebeau.
  12. So now that it's being reported a hire hasn't been made....back his surprising tweet tonight. @jchenelly #Bills HC search apparently ends where it started, w/ #McDermott. He nailed interview, but real interest in Keith Butler had been expressed.
  13. This really hurts.
  14. We'd need to pull a Dikta and trade the entire draft plus next year's #1 to move up to where he'll be. Not a possibility anymore because we'd go straight to salary cap hell. Besides, like when Andrew Luck came out, someone near the top is going to say this pick isn't for sale for any price.
  15. Joe Chenelly ‏@jchenelly @pawlikIII No. I know they were impressed with McDermott. Expect the search to continue but already has at least 1 viable candidate.
  16. Flying to Fort Lauderdale this afternoon.
  17. Good question. I don't know, but I find it intriguing. He was quoted in just about every major newspaper over the past month on Veterans issues and he seems to have a lot of reporters following him on Twitter. I know that doesn't mean anything in football, but it is interesting. A few searches on here and Google shows he was the or among the first to say Rex Ryan was in Florida meeting with the Pegulas and that he'd be hired that night. I don't see anyone else that was saying it first or with more detail that turned out to be right. he was the first to say Hughes would get re-signed. He had it an hour before the rest on here. He said Felton was coming in and would be signed before I see anyone else did. He reported Harvin was getting signed right at the same time as Josina Anderson but before everyone else. He was saying two years ago the Pegulas were going hire Polian as a czar. That turned out to be wrong but then later we found they had offered it to him. He said last year Coughlin was being offered a similar czar role. That also turned out to apparently be wrong but we later found out Coughlin was at least at the facility for a while. The one thing I see is that it appears he went to high school with Kim Pegula. No sign that they knew each other but still interesting.
  18. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Gus Bradley have just two good seasons in Seattle?
  19. Keep in mind photos usually capture no more than .005 of a second.
  20. Like it or not, Marv Levy is a Hall of Fame coach for many very good reasons. Yes, the Bills had a number of great players in the 1990s. But there are plenty of teams that had immense talent but wasted it because of poor coaching and a lack or leadership. Marv deserves our undying gratitude and respect. Now, he is 91 years removed from his birth. So he doesn't get another shot at coaching. But let's not disrespect him by calling him overrated.
  21. Forbes and John Clayton reporting Tom Coughlin's "favors" the Bills job.
  22. Eric Moulds 3 hrs · Instagram · So sick to my stomach right now my friend, my brother my teammate I talked to this man every week .
