  1. Ian Rapoport‏Verified account @RapSheet 1m1 minute ago More Free agent QB Kirk Cousins is visiting the #Vikings first, source said. That first visit is huge.
  2. Denver has always wanted to sign their QB of the future this year rather than draft him. Cousins to the Jests might help us, too, but I don't really want them to get a QB of that caliber. We are positioned well to react appropriately and draft the guy we want for the future and sign who we want for now.
  3. Here is what we actually know: If leaking information such as this to the press won't help the Bills, then it won't get leaked. This does not help us, so I don't believe it.
  4. This is exactly the type of signing we should expect. A solid, reliable player who believes in the process. He could likely go elsewhere and shoot for much bigger stats. But he's willing to play his role and watch LBs rack up tackles. The Panthers picked up his fifth-year option, so they valued him when McD was running their D. The most encouraging thing here is that the coaches and GM who knows him best are ours. Very low risk.
  5. At #3 the Bills get one of the top two QBs.
  6. 67.6 % | 3,547 | 22 | 7 | 98.3 12-4
  7. They didn't need your defense. I wasn't attacking anyone other than the one name calling.
  8. There is no direct link to the defensive section of the defensive depth chart. If you click twice you can easily switch it to the defensive lineup, which show Dareus is the backup DT and backup NT.
  9. Up yours. Thank you. I missed. I think maybe 10 people have let me know here.
  10. Dareus was sitting on the sidelines when the Pats scored their winning TD. Tells me something that they had him out on the most important play of their season.
  11. Guarantee: The newspapers that are now going strictly subscription-only will either change back to at least a limited number of free per whatever time-frame or go out of business. Follow-up Guarantee: The quality of feature articles and in-depth reporting will continue to decline.
  12. McCloughan is more than a little biased given that Cousins proved he was worth more than the contract McCloughan offered and Cousins turned down. But McCloughan lived what he says. I personally think Cousins will leave the Redskins and play his arse off for whoever hires him. If he goes to a team with a defense as solid as ours, he will win playoff games. Anyone see him mic'd up? This season his top RB had just 603 yards. His top WR had just 789 yards. Yet he managed to throw for more than 4,000 yards. Again. By the way, his defense was bottom 5 in points allowed. He did a whole lot himself.
  13. No matter where you go, Dunkirk, you're going to get people throwing snowballs at you. Stick around and keep sharing, please. It is interesting if nothing else. This is without a doubt the best Bills board anywhere, so enjoy it with us and take the detractors with several grains of salt.
  14. Anyone interested in a putting together a quick pep rally at the airport to send them off in style? A win on this trip would likely make all the difference in the playoff race.
  15. Tyrod showed strength doing the press conference. Not sure why the team put him out there, though. I'll give Tyrod a pass on the whole presser, but I was disappointed that he accepted zero accountability for the offense's woes. Zero. He was asked by reporters to do so, and he declined, instead asserting that it was the team struggling. I believe his disappointment clouded his judgement on this, but he should know that good leaders share the credit but own the blame. It would have been so much better if he said, "I am disappointed. I disagree with this decision. But I know I did not play my best. I know I made serious mistakes. We have been working as a team to fix our struggles, and i know a lot of that is on my shoulders. I believe I am ready to perform much better, but I am frustrated now that the decision has been made that I won't get a chance. I will be ready if called upon again, and I will do whatever I can to help Nate and the entire team in the meantime." THAT would have been gold, and his next team would have noticed.
  16. Shady should be upset. This likely doesn't happen if he played better. Yeah, I know it's hard to run when you're wrapped up before you get to the hole, but everyone should have played better the past two weeks. The oline should be upset. The defense should be upset. The entire offensive coaching staff should be upset. Unless they all think Tyrod actually is a part of the problem.
  17. Well, they did lose 40 to zip to the lowly Ravens a few days ago. #tanking
  18. That's the first thing I wondered, too. Why? They MUST know something we don't. Maybe he's running around on a wheel that's about to fall apart. Or maybe they found out he's been running around with their Oline coach and will pop a piss test soon.
  19. Horrendous move by the stinkin' fish. Terrible move for every team in the NFC other than Philly. Great move for Ajay and the AFC East.
  20. If this year's team doesn't make the playoffs, it will be because of depth. Not because of Tyrod. It is that simple. Use the draft to upgrade a few positions and build solid depth. The sky's the limit then.
  21. Reading the Pats*** will trade the 49ers' pick for a top-tier defensive lineman before the deadline. Who is available for that on a team that would deal with the devil?
  22. No doubt. And the Steelers lost an important one because of that. Big Ben followed up by wondering out loud whether he's lost it.
  23. The real question is why would anyone want to trade for Eli at this point? He's done. On the other hand, the Giants should truly be in tank mode now. They have zero chance of accomplishing anything this year other than sustaining more career-threatening injuries to players they need for the future.
