  1. Good move for the birds, yes, but they also lost their center today. By the way, I've very glad the Ravens got him rather than the Pats.
  2. I hope he rots in San Fran.
  3. I am really hoping that that is PW's plan.
  4. That ain't too shabby.
  5. I think Becht would fit in well with the Bills' run game. I think losing Blaylock will really hurt the Chiefs.
  6. Maybe JP will talk about how excited he is to play behind Mike Wahle and LJ Shelton.
  7. I heard he smokes Marbs, and watches the Oprah channel exclusively. Really, thanks.
  8. Alright, if TD got someone early this morning I believe the reports should come out within the next couple of hours. I'm wondering who is listening to the radio in Buffalo and Rochester? I assume that is where the very first reports will be come out. Also, does anyone remember when we first found out that Posey had been signed? And yes, I admit I am a very impatient person.
  9. I would rather face a stinkin' fish team with EJ and without Surtain, than a team with another running back and with Surtain. Uh, that means I would like to see Surtain leave Miami.
  10. I was thinking the same exact thing. Of course we don't know the whole story.
  11. I don't know that our ends are good enough to cover the ground they'd be responsible for in a 3-4. But I think Sam would be a monster at nose.
  12. I really hope Willis' speed is back in full for the upcoming season. Combine that speed with his stiff arms and tackle breaking... fugget about it.
  13. Getting Shelton would have made getting Wahle more likely -- not the other way around. If Shelton goes to the Bears then the Bills still need to shell out some big cash to get a decent LT. Even if Shelton isn't as good as JJ, he isn't much of a step down but would come a whole lot cheaper.
  14. Romeo is cutting the crap heads right off the bat. Very wise. But I would of thought they could get a third rounder for him.
  15. The Pack might let him go anyway. For only $700,000 more than they already offered him they could have franchised him. But for anyone who thinks Franks would be some big upgrade, or think that he is a top-five TE, go ask a Packer's fan. We should all understand that no one knows out players better than we do, and no one knows Bubba Franks than Packer fans. Every Packer fan I know, and every Packer message board I visit, tell me the same thing: Franks is medicore who just happens to be on an offense that would ensure decent stats for just about any tight end. Pollard is the best option. Becht is a very good run blocker and would be a nice pickup for the right price.
  16. I didn't get that at all from these blurbs. My take was that Green has said Travis has to agree to a longterm contract or no deal. Nothing about picks. I think it is common sense and something every team would expect.
  17. Would he make a decent #3? Just kidding. Someone had to say it.
  18. He won't sign cheap. He care$ about money and nothing else -- like his buddy Milloy.
  19. Dear Angelo Wright, :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Love, Scribo
  20. Hey JP-Era, will you let us know why you think it might be a good idea to trade TH for Warren, when you don't think it is a good idea to trade TH for Shelton? I am just wondering if I'm missing something. Do you think Warren is much better than Shelton?
  21. Didn't the Bills draft him? He might not want to come back to a team that let him go just a few years ago (2002). He had 8.5 sacks last year but less than 40 tackles.
  22. Jim Kelly Andre Reed Takeo Spikes Lee Evans Will likely get a McGahee this year
  23. I think there should be a well-enforced rule that when someone posts something that doesn't really makes sense or is completely wrong, and they are called out for it, they should not be allowed to post anywhere else on the board until they come back to the thread in question and answer up. That said, I do think gee-gee is trying to say Clayton is full of it.
