  1. Do you mean that he would break it again before coming back? Or just that he'd be held out that long to avoid a re-break?
  2. I agree 100 percent, LA. But someone on this board posted last week that ESPN listed their projected top-five NFL defenses this year, and they didn't include the Bills. I was wondering if anyone who saw/heard that report, might post here which teams were listed. I cannot come up with five defenses that could be better than the Bills. I would guess the Steelers and Redskins would be on the list.
  3. I've also read where JP and Duke both said they were looking forward to the scrimmage against the Packers because they wanted to see what playing against another defense was like. They both said they (while noting they didn't mean any disrespect to the Packers) were a little surprised with how much slower the Packers' defense was.
  4. I think Evans is getting closer to overtaking Moulds each day. But the experience Moulds has in the league puts him well ahead of Evans in current value to the team. There is no doubt that Evans is faster. There is no doubt that Moulds is more physical. But Moulds is a leader and can be a clutch guy. I think it is very important to note that Moulds is among the best blocking wide receivers in the league while Evans has shown that to be an area he really needs to work on. Overall, I think Evans (barring any set backs this season) could be the #1 next year. But I think the Bills really need to keep Moulds around next year. And as long as Moulds in on the roster, he is the #1.
  5. I vote that you keep it. It is one of my favorites.
  6. I think Goldsberry beats out Burns as the #2 FB spot, simply for special teams' sake. I think Haddad makes the roster over Reed. I agree with everything else, but I wish they'd keep Woodbury over Matthews. But I am sure that won't happen. Oh, and Neufeld is the odd man out when Everett returns.
  7. Evil eye or not, Steve is a great guy. By the way, it sounds like J.P. is making himself available to the fans a lot. I haven't been able to make it to camp this year, so I was wondering if he has won the fans there over?
  8. They couldn't trade any of these guys? Damn you, TD!
  9. That sounds a lot different than that other reviews I've heard/read about Edwards' play. I'm saying I don't believe you, but I would think a lot more people here who have seen the games would be commenting like that if Edwards was getting knocked off the ball like that.
  10. I agree that this is the funniest flick of the year -- so far, at least. "What are we... al Qaeda?" So many great lines.

  12. I have plenty of confidence in our defense, but go ahead and show me what they have faced so far? Manning was in for one drive and was handed his ass. Farve was in for one drive and handed the Bills their ass. Seems like a push to me. Of course, Manning didn't have Edge or half his o-line. I don't like to throw stats around like they prove something, unless they are first put into context. But, I still believe our defense is among the top three in the league.
  13. Undrafted stars: London Fletcher, Brian Moorman, Jeff Saturday, Jake Delhomme, Billy Volek, Priest Holmes, Antonio Gates, Drew Bennett, Rod Smith, Wayne Chrebet, Adewale Ogunleye, Pat Williams, Adam Vinatieri and Mike Vanderjagt. How do explain that?
  14. Tim Dwight had some shining moments in San Diego.
  15. Thanks! That's just the info I was looking for.
  16. Davis certainly has some wheels. Good thing he often has at least one flat.
  17. I have not yet seen the game. I only heard/read that the Pack had its way with the Bills first string D in Favre's one and only drive. Did the Pack find some vulnerability in the defense, or did they just execute really well, or did the Bills just execute poorly? Anyone think the Bills would have made adjustments and shut Farve down if he had stayed out there?
  18. I agree that I would rather have Woodbury on the roster than Matthews. But I think Matthews would retire before allowing himself to be traded. If I remember corectly, he wanted to retire after last season, but TD talked him in to staying. I think Matthews is more of a coach than a player this year. All that said, hire Matthews as one more coach and keep Woodbury as the #3 / STer.

  20. I know, there is no context provided here, and it really doesn't mean much (if anything). But I found it interesting, so I thought some here might as well. 21. FYI -- Travis is still up on the banner on that page.
  22. Does anyone recall how the Pats did last season in the preseason? Does BellyChick have a tendency to take it easy in the preseason? I do find it very interesting that he played most of his starting D the entire first half. He must feel they need some field time. Oh, and Flutie had a very nice TD pass. Very nice touch, IMHO.
  23. Why are you willing to give this guy a pass? He charged $5 for a 37-cent stamp. And now #89's friend has to watch the game at home or take a gamble with scalpers in the parking lot. Sure, I know this is eBay and all, but this guy should know better. BTW, I need to admit that I don't know how much a single "negative" effects a guy on eBay when he also has hundreds of positives.
