This video has been posted here at least four times in the past three months. Not complaining -- I posted it here three months ago -- it is pretty damn impressive, IMHO.
Being that we're all Bills fans here (I know, I know...), which way would you vote if you were representing the Bills today in Dallas at the owners meeting on the CBA?
No big loss to the carps I guess, but they will be losing some solid veteran experience. Too bad he had to go out this way, but that's what happens when you go to Miami! All current and future free agents should keep that in mind.
On Sportscenter this morning/last night, Kiper gave the following as his current projection for the top-10 picks:
1 Texans - Bush
2 Saints - Leinart
3 Titans - Young
4 Jets - Ferguson
5 Packers - Williams
6 49ers - Hawk
7 Raiders - Cutler
8 Your Buffalo Bills - Ngata
9 Lions - Huff
10 Cardinals - White
He is sticking with the Ngata pick for us. Quite apparently he doesn't believe the hype around Cutler will put him ahead of Young. I was surprised he left Davis out of the top-10. I do not know if this means he is predicting all 10 teams will stay put.
I know it is cold and heartless, but once he is in the the NFL, no one but the announcers will give a damn where his mother is, he better have his mind in the game. What did Brett Farve do just days after his father died?
Might this mean the Bills are already in talks with Bruce? I'd think they must have a plan by now. Either keep Moulds or start looking for a replacement. If Fairchild wants Bruce, and Bruce doesn't mind playing in Buffalo...no need to wait until Thursday. Bruce makes good sense to me. He is a experienced vet with a Super Bowl ring who would probably do a lot of good for Evans and Parrish.
Our OC was his last OC, so I have to say that I would trust Fairchild on this move -- either way. Fairchild would know better than just about anyone if he is worth going after.
Good call, 2003. It makes me wonder if Snyder slid a little something extra under that table to Arrington. Of course, I often wonder how much of that that type of thing happens in the NFL.
Um, not sure if the original post in this thread was something of a joke, but that article makes no refference to Ralph doing anything to hamper the CBA talks.
It seems to me that Arrington just did the Deadskins a huge favor. I'm not quite sure how this works out for the cap, but it was said on the radio down here (in northern Virginia) that it would have cost the Skins more against the cap to get rid of Arrington before June. Does this buyout change that? Arrington hasn't gotten along with the Skins' managment lately, so he must really feel this will be profitable in the long run. He better hope the CBA deal goes through this week.
The players won't have a say in it. The new extension stipulates that any team that made a cut in the past two weeks may rescind that move up until the salary cap deadline. This was put into place just in case a deal was reached and teams (such as the Chiefs) determined they could keep a player (such as Will Shields) with the higher cap.
Broncos are stupid then, especially since both teams are super tight with the cap, as in they are both over the cap as of this morning, according to ESPN.
