  1. Not exactly on the subject of the Packers. They may still re-sign Graddy Jackson if they feel Pickett will cost too much. Pickett is worth more to the Bills than he is to the Packers IMHO.
  2. Offers from three teams and he is still coming to chat with Marv and Dick? Nice. http://www.packersnews.com/archives/news/pack_25147174.shtml Posted this morning.
  3. This is kind of odd -- Bernard's agent turned down a invite from the Giants because of this mystery visit. Why would a team want to keep it secret that they were having a quality free agent visit? The only thing I can think of is that the team doesn't want to upset a player already on its roster in case Bernard does not sign. That type of situation would not happen with the Bills, I don't think, as Marv Levy has already made it clear the Bills are in the market for another DT.
  4. HOW IN THE HELL...sorry, I'll stop yelling...could the Deadskins have the cap space to sign JA?
  5. I really like this one. He is a sure step up IMHO over Josh. Didn't he have like a 99-yard catch and run two years ago? I think he can be a reliable WR if given the chance.
  6. OK, enough of bashing this guy. I am calling out every one of you who said Gibbs didn't want Royal anymore. Prove your statement. I know for a fact Joe Gibbs has gone on the record saying he'd like to keep Royal, that Royal was impotant to the running game, and that Royal was important in the locker room. According to Sunday's Washington Post, the 'Skins were still trying to re-sign him Friday night, but we all know Snyder was too busy getting ready to wine and dine Todd Collins. As a few have already said here, we do not know how this deal is structured, so the Bills may not have actually paid as much for him as it appears. I am not one to blindly trust someone else's judgement, but I believe Marv and Dick made the right call on this guy. I think we're all going to be happy with this signing eventually -- OK, maybe not all, as some of you could NEVER be happy.
  7. I thought the same thing, and I would be happy with that, but there is more than one run-stuffing DT in this year's draft, and do not forget Marv has always tried to stay away from starting rookies.
  8. I do not want another QB at #8.
  9. I swear that link wasn't there when I posted.
  10. Who said those were the only two options?
  11. No such entity. They are the N.J. Giants.
  12. Crap. We NEED the 'Aints to take QB in the first.
  13. I'd rather the stinkin' fish trade for Dante than get Brees in free agency. If this happens, I hope the stinkin' fish give the Vikes three first-rounders and Chris Chambers. Oh, and John Taylor, too.
  14. Who is rumbling about Runyan? Us? Too bad we don't make the signings. Yes, there has actually been word in the media that Mawae is expected to talk to the Bills, but I haven't heard aything about Runyan yet. In fact, the only real report I've seen is that the Eagles' fomer offensive coordinator Brad Childress is looking to bring Runyan aboard in Minnesota. I'm just pointing this out as I think we are far from having the o-line situation sured-up.
  15. I personally asked Mr. Golisano (before he bought the Sabres) if he was serious about buying a pro sports team. He said then that he was pretty sure he would. I asked him which team, and he said he 'd really like to buy the Bills but knew the Sabres opportunity would likely come around first. He wouldn't go any further on the subject. It was either his grandson or newphew who was playing youth football at the time I met him. He seemed like a really good guy, and I understand he feels strongly about keeping WNY a great place to raise a family.
  16. While I certainly wouldn't mind having Javon Walker on the Bills, I don't see Marv "replacing" someone who is still here. Walker's numbers in '04, which is the only numbers to measure him by now as he misseed just about all of last season: YEAR TEAM G REC YDS AVG LNG TD FD FUM LOST 2004 GNB 16 89 1,382 15.5 79 12 63 2 2 Career 48 157 2,444 15.6 79 22 106 4 4
  17. No! I want to jump to them now. Anyone interested in a "jump to conclusion mat"?
  18. That absoutely is tampering, and the 'Aints really need to complain to the NFL.
  19. Fat Lenny says... Fool. But I would like #9.

  21. That seems to makes sense, but I think it is safe to predict a pay jump real soon for many, many players. In other words, we're going to need that cap space.
  22. Hell, why not earn that bid with an outright Big East title?!?!
  23. It's a final now. 'Cuse wins! 86-84 OT Ex-'Cuse Us
  24. Why would they need to keep McGinest when they have a real American hero in theit linebacking corps? He saved puppies for crying out loud.
