  1. It was Saprano himself (the "uncle"). "Said" is used too many times in that sentence.
  2. Bob Matthews was right for once. You can say what you want about not letting fans dictate player moves, but the reality is that without strong ticket sales...you can figure it out. By the way, Vernon Davis could be that player "to get excited about," but I, personally, would be excited over a top-tier o-lineman or d-lineman. This has been a fast and furious free agency period so far, and the Bills, a team with as many needs as any other team, has really failed to make any legit splash. I like the three signings so far, but the team really needs to get on the move. This post is not the result of impatience; this is from the fact that a lot of the top-tier guys are gone, and not teams are starting to gobble up the second-tier. I don't want to be stuck with more second- and thrid-tier o-linemen. Oh yeah, and we still don't have on DT who was a regular starter last season. Oops, and Coy Wire sits atop the depth chart at SS, and our longtime #1 WR is asking to be cut. Let's go all ready!
  3. It would really, really hard to pass on D'Brick for Vernon, but it would be tempting. I hope one of those two is the Bills' pick at #8.
  4. Remember TO's great day in Dallas? He scored a TD and ran to midfield and stood on the star with the football. In fact, he did it twice, and the 49ers won that day. My hatred for the Cowboys was high then, so I really enjoyed the stupid disrespect. I wonder if the Cowboy fans remember?
  5. Damn it.
  6. I'm happy with the signing, but, as for this stuff, what have you done lately?
  7. OK, got to update again now that the Saints are looking to trade out of the #2 slot. Who else needs a QB? The Raiders -- they can get one of the top three signal callers at #7.
  8. No and no. The Bills need their second- and third-rounders. They need them badly.
  9. This is good. A team looking for Leinart or Cutler can move into position -- don't get any ideas, Marv.
  10. I also think Super Mario goes to N'Awlins, but Hawk will be taken by Green Bay, so D'Brick could really fall to us.
  11. I think it is an even bigger risk for the Chargers, letting Brees go. They were legit playoff contendors with Brees. Now, they have put all the talent LT has on the line.
  12. Six years? He'll be a Saint until there are no Saints.
  13. I'm in as a fan of J.P. I want him to get a fair shake behind a decent line.
  14. We get it, SixPack. You love Royal!
  15. The thing is that it is already outdated as the Saints are set to sign Brees today, so Leinart will have to find a new home.
  16. Damn. At least the stinkin' fish had to give up a 2nd. Of course, this mean the Aints got Brees and will now refrain from taking a QB in the 1st. Maybe they trade down out of the #2 spot.
  17. In case you are looking for another thread or two to look at on this subject: http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...3123&hl=pickett http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...3250&hl=pickett http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...3210&hl=pickett http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...3204&hl=pickett http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...3170&hl=pickett http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...3166&hl=pickett http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...3039&hl=pickett
  18. Hate to break the news to you, but the team is pretty much dead already. To would either finish the job or breath some new life into the team. I'd say do it -- trade EM for TO.
  19. Boo! Another one gone.
  20. That is a very real possibility.
  21. Reggie Wells has been on my radar for a while (see my sig line). He is worthy of a 6th IMHO, and I think he is certainly ready to step in and start at guard. He is 6-4 and 320 lbs. He'll maul all day long. He is what the Bills are looking for in interior linemen. Also, the Cards were thinking about trying him at center as he is very bright guy (for a lineman).
  22. How much $$$? That is the question.
  23. No way would I even trade just a second for Schaub. The Bills should get at the very least a sixth round pick for Moulds, which would replace the pick they would lose to the Cards if they sign RFA Wells today.
  24. I love the idea of Moulds buying out his contract, but the thing is that no one does that -- no one but those getting under-the-table payoffs from Dan Snyder.
