  1. I thought the same thing, but the rest of the image does not look like winter.
  2. ESPN listed the reason as "calf," but all Jests fans I know have told me they were unaware that anything was wrong with him.
  3. I like this challenge a lot.
  4. Got it, Kelly. You are correct in that my initial statement was flawed. My follow-up point is that it really appears to me that LeBeau was a more important part of that 2004 coaching staff than we, as fans, were lead to believe. yes, we lost Pat Williams, too, in 2005, but the game-time woes were deeper than personnel.
  5. Two words for you: Dick Lebeau. He left Gray and Meathead all by themselves the next year and things imploded. Incidentally, Lebeau went to Pittsburgh and and the Stealers won the Super Bowl. I doubt you need such a history lesson, so what exactly are you saying? Meathead and his crew were good at making halftime adjustments? Then what happened last year? I cannot remember one instance last year in which I saw a halftime adjustment work out for the Bills, but I certainly remember several other teams make adjustments and beat the snot out of us afterward because there was no counter by Meathead.
  6. Another good deal for A.J. and company in San Diego. The Bolts seem primed to make a serious run this year, and it is important to have a vet to back up your QB in such a case.
  7. I can buy that. He stayed with the talking points even when they were outdated because he has no brains and cannot adjust to the situation. Good job on ESPN's part in keeping him!
  8. It is the coaching. Did anyone notice the halftime adjustments? They worked. When during the Meathead era could you honestly say that? Just one example was the way Keith Ellison was used in the second half, which was very different than the way he was in the first half, and it worked very well.
  9. Anyone else pick up on how much Theisman loves Ben Rottenburger? Even when he was getting slammed last night, throwing pick after pick, with the clock running down and the Stealers down by two scores, Theisman kept saying he really thought Rottenburger was going to lead his team back for the win. Even the rest of the crew was telling him he was stupid.
  10. No need to get pissed about that. It only hurts PFW's credibility, rendering their analysis worthless. There is no way IMHO anyone can justify ranking the stinkin' fish above the Buffalo Bills right now.
  11. I'm coming up from the Baltimore-Washington corridor. I'll have two Bills window flags waving proudly all the way up I-95, I-83 and U.S. Rt. 15. I'll likely wear my red and blue wig just to give other drivers something to look at.
  12. The question here is when in the game did it occur? He looked pretty horrid out there from the get-go.
  13. That video is just full of ridiculous runs, including a couple against the "glory days" Bills. The move he put on Talley was sick. Just imagine what he would have done behind the o-lines that Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith or even Thurman had. Sanders would own every record by a mile. His sudden exit from he league was one of the biggest sports stories to ever fly under the radar. Here is arguably the best back ever just quitting while he was still great, and it really received very little national media coverage.
  14. No way could I see him taking the job. He is a very successful businessman off the field. He is going after corporate America after he hangs his cleats up for good. My thought is that the Bills really wanted a roster spot, and I wouldn't at all be surprised if the Bills come to an injury settlement and still part ways with TV in the near future. I do think him being around Donte as much as possible is very beneficial.
  15. But they don't miss Saunders at all....ha ha.
  16. To me, this is the perfect situation. Ko gets a ton of experience early and often with TV helping him along the way without TV getting mad about being on the bench. Now, let's just hope Coy is taching Donte....yes, I am joking, even if it isn't funny.
  17. Oh yeah. I really wanted him. He was my avatar for weeks. But he was schooled in a bad way last night.
  18. Here is the full article. We can call it whatever we want, but in the end, it is smart.
  19. The game is in Buffalo, so the Bolts will be wearing white.
  20. Bingo. I saw the same thing.
  21. Any comments from the Cowgirls-Jags game? I thought TO looked very good, especially when it mattered. But Drew sucked, and I will be surprised if Tuna doesn't make a change at QB in the next two weeks. Jones looked decent, but he runs so damn high that is only a matter of time before he returns to his second home, the recovery ward. The Jags impressed me, and I think they are the real deal. They have a very big, powerful WR corps, and I think that will allow them to stay in every game no matter who they are playing. Their biggest weakness is that they have Mike Tice on their coaching staff.
  22. Spot on. Not to mention the fact that Brady was at home, while Losman was playing through the noise. I think J.P. outplayed Brady yesterday.
  23. IMHO, anyone who watched the game should KNOW the loss was far from Losman's fault, and that the Pats would have scored more if they needed to. Yes, the safety broke the tie and was the game's final scoring, but the Pats were trying to kill the clock -not score- in the fourth quarter. Brady was doing whatever he wanted in the end, and there is no doubt in my mind that if the Bills punted instead of giving up that safety, the Pats would have scored a TD or at least FG on their possession.
  24. Keeping Culpepper on the run = a win everytime
  25. Shelton making the team over Ricard puzzled me then, and it is boggling my little mind now. Is it too late to fix that error?
