  1. I could certainly live with that draft, I think we would have a very solid offense and defensive front seven that way. So, what are you advocating?
  2. Nice post! Rome is spot on. I love that he is calling McGahee a beater with a new paint job, because that is exactly what is happening. And I thought TD was good at spinning his signings into great PR. The Ravens' front office has its fanbase all pumped up about this. It is hysterical because I know how bad the let-down is going to be for the fans.
  3. I know that is a lot of picks, but I think it would be worth it. And I wouldn't put it past Marv and company. Plus, we still might get another first-day pick for Takeo.
  4. I agree, Dave. A Lynch-A-Train combo would be just as effective as a Jones and Benson or Dillon and Maroney. Of course, I really don't think our defense is going to be as good at Chicago's or NE's was this past year. But I do feel that we can take a big step forward in 2007 with an aging vet and promising rookie hitting the right holes next season.
  5. You are right, YOOOOOO. This guy has the talent, physical attributes and most importantly, the heart. He is faster than McGahee and certailnly has better character. I think his character being called into question is amazingly stupid, and it will turn out great for us, as I really think Lynch is a Marv-type-of-guy. Up until we traded McGahee away I was 100 percent set on drafting Patrick Willis at #12. Now I think this opens the door to getting Lynch, who has the best shot of all the RBs in this class to become a top-quality back for years to come. That said, I would love for the Bills to take Lynch and then figure out a way to get back into the first to draft Willis, too. Lynch along with A-Train or Brown would make for some very sore and tired opposing D-linemen and LBs come the fourth quarter.
  6. Yeah, it is a real in-depth, insightful article. It looks to me as if the sports editor had a 3-inch hole in his section and told this Johan guy to write the first thing that came to mind. And did this guy only see the Tenn. game last year. Many teams have kicked away from McGee; although I do not remember any team ever intentionally booting a kickoff out of bounds.
  7. You are so right. He just ran by everyone, even blowing past other WRs who were trying to block for him. Word is he runs a 40 in about 4.28. But he didn't run at the combine as he is just finishing up his recovery from the crazy injury in the national championship. He had just returned the opening kickoff 90+ yards when one of his teammates landed on him or something celebrating. I think that injury was no small part in Ohio State's inability to get things going after that.
  8. It is true. I have read that many of the scouts and personnel guys left the combine thinking that the best football player there was Ginn but that he would not go number one overall because no one needs a WR that badly. This video is sick. Ginn scored on long passes, short passes over the middle that he turns into huge TDs, WR screens, end-arounds, reverses, amazing punt returns and kickoff returns. Oh, he even scores when he lines up at QB and runs it.
  9. Maybe his whole visit to Buffalo was a scheme to gain leverage on Baltimore, where he really wanted to go. Now, with the Ravens no longer needing a back, he has to rethink his whole strategy. I wouldn't be surprised is Bellychick told him that visiting the Bills would wipe out any chance for him to return to the Patsies.
  10. I agree that Willis seems like the real deal. I definately hope the Bills can get him, but I would also really like Lynch.
  11. Well, they should really get out and piss in the yard, at least. I mean, every time I go to Cleveland someone is pissing in some yard. Don't piss in hot tubs. Damn.
  12. It can be done easily if you are willing to give up next year's first or the rest of this year's first-day picks.
  13. There is a reason the Browns are looking to get rid of him.
  14. Nice. Thanks. I am hoping he needs the ear muffs, but for life as a Bill not a Packer.
  15. I am sure we'll be booing pretty loudly, but he did seemingly go out with class today. He thanked the Bills for drafting him and said nothing negative.
  16. The Bills still need to acquire at least four starting-caliber players. So how do we do that? Here is what I believe the Bills need to do between now and the end of April: Sign Chris Brown to a three-year deal Sign Nick Harper to a three-year deal Draft Marshawn Lynch at #12 Trade back up into the first round to take Patrick Willis
  17. What do you mean?
  18. I'm trusting in Marv after he grabbed two first-day draft choices for McGahee.
  19. I'd rather draft Lynch at #12 and then use the extra pick to move back up into the 1st to draft Willis.
  20. Inner Harbor is nice, as is Fell's Point and Federal Hill, but the rest if pretty ghetto. But yes, there are a whole lot of hotties in this area. Baltimore is also the nation's STD capital. It is easy to get around in this city.
  21. That is what Schefter said. He said Dillon wants to go to a team he sees as likely to make the playoffs. Schefter said Dillon is interested in going to Philly. To Dillion, I say "Screw you, old man! We didn't want you anyway."
  22. Another team with genuine interest is obviously ideal for the Bills. Let the bidding war commence...
  23. That was fast. This sure makes the trade for McGahee that much more likely.
  24. It is interesting. He is on the downside, but he handled himself well last season. Of course, playing next to Ogden would make most guards look good. I'd definately bring him in for a look. Of course, how many guard slots do we have? He is not a long term answer, that is for sure. He is good to start for probably one more year.
  25. I thought he also looked as if he was deprived of oxygen as a child. To sum up his interview: "I am great. I will own the NFC. I am great. Yeah, it is a lot of money, but I don't feel like there is any pressure. I am great." I loved that he called himself a "playmaker" yet again. Even Rod Woodson was taking subtle jabs at Nate's huge ego.
