  1. Maybe Rosenhaus has a "How To" book ghost written by T.O.
  2. 3 Thoughts 1- Zero Gravity When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside-down, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 300 C. The Russians used a pencil. Your taxes are due again -- enjoy paying them. 2 - Our Constitution They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it's worked for over 200 years and we're not using it anymore. 3 - Ten Commandments The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments in a Courthouse is that you cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal", Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery" and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians! It creates a hostile work environment.
  3. The difference between a college bowl game (and season) is light years away from making it in the NFL. The draft is littered with corpses of NCAA first team All-Stars. Reggie Bush, while an incredible talent, is (was) a featured back in the USC attack. If an NFL team thinks he will have 30 carries a game - there are smoking'. Reggie needs a team where he might touch the ball 15-20 times and be a pass threat out of the backfield - but he also needs a L. White type player for best results. Houston is still a good fit
  4. His "official" NFL bio says that he ran with the indoor track team at MSU (outside of football)
  5. "I guess its sweet revenge that his successor is a Hall of Fame Jew" For a long time poster - that's a fairly stupid comment
  6. Based on one season (and the Rose Bowl) any NFL team that gambles on Vince Young deserves what it gets. What NFL defense can't "spy" on such a player ? Mr. Vick has sure been a "difference" maker in the overall scheme
  7. And Wade Philips will get another HC attempt ? (Minn) Why color has nothing to do with competency
  8. The pass went through his hands - NOT too high The photo in SI is crystal clear - Harmon blew it
  9. Thank you for my morning chuckle My across - the - cubicle mate said, "What are you laughing about - you never laugh."
  10. At the end of January, 2006 - your cell phone number may not be quite so private Rumor: “JUST A REMINDER...In a few weeks, cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sale calls. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS... To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888/382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. PASS THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS...” The official story: (?) The federal government does not maintain a national cell phone registry. Personal cell phone users have always been able to add their numbers to the National Do Not Call Registry — the same Registry consumers use to register their land lines — either online at www.donotcall.gov or by calling toll-free 1-888-382-1222 from the telephone number they wish to register. Registrations become effective within 31 days of signing up and are active for five years. There is no cut-off date or deadline for registrations. Read The FTC "whole" story http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2005/04/dnc.htm Or, one more source https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx Make an informed decision
  11. If Parcells was ever tired of the limelight - he certainly could escape it in Orchard Park I think it would be the best move RW ever made since staying in '96 but it is highly unlikely to happen
  12. and slowly Rome burns - the barbarians are slowed by watching Nick at Nite with breaks for X-box http://www.suntimes.com/output/novak/cst-edt-novak29.html
  13. And Rivers' trade value took a nosedive today, and given that and Brees' injury, dealing him likely won't happen. 546478[/snapback] Rivers did nothing today in a meaningless game against a disinterested opponent. His trade value is based on his previous salary (two years ago) and his time in the league versus what a Top 5 (Leinhart) will command in new 2006 $$. A shoulder separation (degree not reported) certainly has some impact on Brees but if it is limited - S.D. would be foolish (IMHO) to cast their dice with Rivers. The Chargers played the worst NFL schedule - yet posted the best record against the best of the rest. I blame Marty !
  14. Dislocated shoulder - hardly career ending The Chargers have a serious problem - resign Brees and/or deal Rivers ?
  15. Van Miller did do the Buffalo braves games at one time
  16. The Rock - http://www.navyseals.com/community/article...cle.cfm?id=8321 The "Buffalo" & "Cougar" are on the job too: http://www.forceprotectioninc.com/
  17. I gotta read PPP more often - good one CTM - and that was before the Denver exhibition
  18. Cynical & Agressive ? Sounds like my M-I-L Here's a suggestion - don't start with a premise and try to improve on it
  19. Just charge them $3.75 a beer and kick them back out - they're so stoned they won't know the difference and Buddy's food tab will be paid through 2007
  20. As the season winds down - the fakers are easier to pick out when their ineptitude starts to shine through The first 80 people in the Pick'em pool got all three Saturday games right Of the first 100 players - only ganesh and gringo starr picked the Bills - or did they randomize and have a brainless computer pick them ? If not, three cheers for optimism
