Has he ever been the best QB in our elimination games? I remember the 13 seconds game and he was 329 with 4 TDs. But Mahomes was 378 and 4 TDs also. Allen was great, but Mahomes matched him. 2019 Texans loss - Watson was better 2020 Chiefs loss - Mahomes was better 2021 Chiefs loss - Draw 2022 Bengals loss - Burrow was better 2023 Chiefs loss - Close, I’ll call it a draw due to drops by Bills WR’s.

Douglas? The guy that skipped every OTA is captain material?
-
Bernard is the captain we’ve been waiting for.

Claypool is the example you use? He’s been a Bill for a month. I was trying to guess what this thread was about. My guess was McDermott or Von Miller. But anyways, part of the entertainment of the board is the debate. Stating an opinion is boring. I want someone to disagree so we can then debate about it. Regurgitating hot topics is what the offseason is all about also.

They aren’t a dominant defense talent wise. They’ve never been. They’ve never had players that hunt QBs. There is an argument against McDermott there because of how he rotates his DL. Ive never believed we had a championship defense talent wise other than the start of 2022, but injuries took that away.

This is my favorite argument against McDermott. It’s my favorite because it makes zero sense. First of all McDermott’s Bills have been one of the best teams in the NFL. Regular season wins and playoff wins, McDermott is near the top during his era. That’s besides the point. With Josh Allen he’s only lost to teams in the playoffs that arguably had the better QB at the time. So the argument that he should win a Super Bowl with Allen just because he has Allen doesn’t stand up. That’s the reason firing him makes zero sense until he either misses the playoffs or loses in the playoffs to an inferior quarterback. Firing him for losing to the best QB makes zero sense. There isn’t anyone else beating Mahomes, who are you going to hire that beats Mahomes?

Tim Graham article on Kim Pegula and Bills ownership

I’ve now seen a few owners reportedly doing the same. -
When the pads came on? Claypool was traded to Miami in the middle of the season and hardly got any snaps. Probably because he didn’t know his plays. Plus they were experimenting him at a new position. Claypool could have trouble with the thinking aspect of the game, learning a playbook. But he’s going to look dominant in 7on7 type drills because he’s physically gifted. Claypools issues will be running all the right routes and being on the same page with Allen.

A multitude of reasons. He was recovering and age being the biggest. Von definitely sets up his moves though. So yes, he likely was attempting to set up moves but he just couldn’t do it last year. The question is whether he will ever be able to do it again.
-
One thing about Von though is he sets up moves. He wasn’t playing enough last year to set up moves. Von playing 20-25 snaps is useless.
-
He did skip all OTAs in Green Bay also so maybe it’s nothing.
-
He didn’t want to be here anymore. Something happened in 2022 that we’ll never know.

Thought McDermott was going for a takedown.
