One thing that always confused me about the McDermott criticism is that 100% of his detractors would hire an offensive head coach to replace McDermott. But they blame the defense. I guess it makes sense. I would definitely hire the best defensive head coach available unless Andy Reid or Sean McVay decides they like Buffalo winters.

We want to believe that but I think they still win the division a couple times with an average QB. Give us Jacoby Brisset and I think McDermott wins the AFC East at least twice. I don’t think people understand how much better the Bills have been than every other team in the regular season since 2019 or 2020. It’s not really close. Playoffs are a different story. Allen completely carries the Bills in almost every playoff game.

It’s probably true a lot of coaches would have success with a top 2-4 QB in the league. I like to give McDermott more respect than that though because he built the structure that allowed Allen to develop. You could probably take any good defensive coordinator and pair him with Allen now and they could win the AFC East. Sure. Beating KC is another thing.

They haven’t come up big in the playoffs other than the Ravens game. Sure. They are the best since 2019. I understand why you’re diminishing that but it’s a pretty long stretch, 5 years.

The only players/coach to really get any love is Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and Daboll. No one else is highly thought of around the league. Which is crazy because the Bills statistically have the best defense in the NFL since 2019.

I was pretty early on Claypool and Samuel, if not the first. So I’ll go a different direction. Before we signed a safety I predicted our breakout player will be whatever safety we sign. So I’m going to say Mike Edwards.

You really stretched that one out. Come on man. By the way Lance Leipold has Kansas looking like a top 10 team next year. It’s really annoying UB has to keep rebuilding their programs in football and basketball. Hopefully UB can build back up.

This is just operating costs of the season? $3-4 million.

He’ll be better at center. As long as he can mentally handle it he’ll be better. Center is much easier physically. Since he’s a natural center I think he’ll be better.

I don’t think McGovern ever gives up center to be honest. Sad to say but Torrence is very overrated. The weakest link on the OL but has glimpses of great potential. Dawkins and Brown had very good seasons. The interior was not very good in pass protection.

It’ll be David Edwards. This will be the best run blocking OL the Bills have had with Allen. They’re going to try and bully teams upfront.

Guys! I don’t know why this bothers me so much. Rousseau is so much better than those two replaceable players. You don’t get better letting players like Rousseau walk. He's as solid as it gets. He’s not a premier pass rusher but he’s the perfect compliment. You don’t want to pay him as a premier pass rusher, those guys are getting $30 million.

My biggest concern is very easy. Joe Brady.

“Home grown”

That point is now. I actually don’t think they make a significant signing this summer outside the organization. I think they’ll sign 1-2 of their own guys and carry over the rest of the cap.

No reason to wait. Rousseau’s price will only go up. No one better than bass.

Brown and Rousseau should be extended this summer.

I think it’s another way for the NFL to show support without upsetting fans that are bothered by other people living their lives. The league has been around for 20+ years. I never heard of it before yesterday. No one should be angry the Bills are showing support.

It’s not a joke. It’s also not a league for gay athletes. Anyone can join. Same as with the NFL.
