    It’s the small things. I’m sure we can argue all day about the go ahead TD attempt to Shakir on 2nd down instead of an easy throw to Diggs to run the clock and get the 1st. If I’m Josh in that moment I definitely don’t want Mahomes and Reid to have any time left. But that’s not how Josh thinks.

    I remember always saying that I dont worry about Allen getting hurt while running with the ball. I worry about him getting hurt in the pocket. I still do.

    I’ve said Allen is Mahomes’ equal in the playoffs. I give the edge to Mahomes because of 2020 head to head. They both average about the same total yards and TDs.

    They’ll both have similar issues as McDermott. Stefanski had a shot at KC with Chad Henne closing out the game.

    Kelce runs whatever he wants. Mahomes and Kelce just do their own thing. Not talked about enough when discussing how great Reid is. I’ve long called Reid the best coach in football, even before Mahomes, but Kelce gets open because of Kelce.

    Just thought of something to be critical of McDermott about in the regular season. Zero 1 seeds! They’ve had an easy division, definitely should’ve had a 1 seed. Allen and the players have a lot to do with it also.

    I think Mahomes has better situational awareness. Josh is still learning to play under control situational football. If it’s 1st and 10, we take what the D gives us. Thats hard for Allen. In the playoffs he does a better job of it. If he can do it consistently in the regular season we’d probably have a couple 1 seeds.

    I think there’s a real chance Cee Dee Lamb and Dallas don’t get a contract done. Something to watch.

    Our next coach should have to return all money earned for the year if he doesn’t make the Super Bowl. Its a fair deal, he has Josh Allen.

    I think we’re probably at a point where a missed playoffs or a wildcard loss would get McDermott fired, possibly Brandon Beane as well.

    Because we’re right there with them. Im guessing the logic is any coach can get as far as McDermott has with Allen so try something else.

    Why do McDermott detractors invent this alternate reality? If McDermott was losing the division and losing wildcard games all the time with Allen then it would be a completely different conversation. If the Chiefs were pulling away from Buffalo head to head then it would be a different conversation. They’re right there with them.

    I like Mike Vrabel and Johnson as options. I hate the expectations of beating KC. These guys will have no chance to build anything. It’ll be like jumping on a treadmill going full speed.

    Shakir. I’m on record at some point saying I don’t get the hype. That he’s just a guy. I think better of him today, but I’m hoping he’s more than a JAG.
