So Spencer Brown what say you?
Buffalo_Stampede replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
Extensions have to take into account where the league cap is going. Also an 18 game season. His floor will be $15 million. I think it’s more likely he’ll get closer to $18 million. What will really matter is the guaranteed money. I’m not sure what that will look like. He’s had some injuries so the Bills might want a lower guarantee number. -
Good for Dawkins.

So Spencer Brown what say you?
Buffalo_Stampede replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s getting a long-term contract soon. He’s a core player. He’s developing very well. I think it’s going to be in the $18 million range. -
We’ve had similar rosters for all 3 losses. The Bills have gotten closer to the Chiefs without major roster turnover. This is the first season they’ve had major roster turnover.
-
No. Blaming a coach is an excuse. Players need to make game winning plays. No one on the defense does.
-
No one on defense steps up to make play in the playoffs like they have in the regular season. From Von Miller, Taron Johnson, to Rousseau. All made plays to close out the Chiefs in the regular season. One thing about the 13 second game not talked about enough was Kelce making up a route on the final play to set up the FG. Not Andy Reid, Kelce. It would’ve been like Levi Wallace saying I should tighten up here because Kelce has too much space, but no the play says stay here. Someone else needs to step up besides Josh Allen. Ultimately we blame coaching for the 13 second failure but the players still can make a play in that situation and they didn’t. Even going back to the play before where Hill goes 64 yards. These games are close. The Bills can beat KC but it’ll only be when a defensive player comes to play vs KC.
-
Documented? lol. Yes Andy Reid and Spags are the best Offensive and defensive combo in the NFL. You’re fighting a losing battle trying to find a better coach. Find better players. Coaching gets us right there to lose close. We need better players, particularly on defense.

They’re losing in very tight games to possibly the greatest team of all time.

Excellent Article on Terrel Bernard from Tim Graham
Buffalo_Stampede replied to MikePJ76's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was so excited to see him in the playoffs because all our other top players on defense fail in the playoffs. I was hoping he would rise up. Then the injury. Gut punch. Ugh! Two years in a row gut punches. Von Miller then Bernard. -
In the playoffs. But barely. Bills beat them in the regular season and lose close in the playoffs.
-
No they weren’t.

Diggs can still play. He didn’t want to be in Buffalo. This year would’ve been his last year in Buffalo. It was the right time to move on.

You’re on the right track. You’re exaggerating a bit though. NFL executives are wrong as much as anyone. -

Russ Brandon was an NFL executive. I’m not sure what you’re trying to say. Opinions are opinions. -
Bills have converted an absurd 49.0% of 3rd downs since 2020
Buffalo_Stampede replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills defense statistically is great during the regular season. They fall off in the playoffs. From 2019 Bills defense drops from 3rd to 18th in 3rd down % going from regular season to playoffs. Compare that to KC who goes from 11th in the regular season to 6th. Cincinnati goes from 24th to 5th. -

What do you mean different intentions? For all we know this whole article is made up with fake quotes. Who cares. -
Josh's perfect offensive game re-visited
Buffalo_Stampede replied to tomur67's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s no different. Whats the difference between Bill Polian sitting on the set of ESPN saying Lamar Jackson is a wide receiver vs anyone else’s opinion? Bill Polian was wrong about Lamar Jackson just like any other non executive can be wrong. Some NFL executive thinks Josh Allen is overrated. So what. It’s no different than anyone else’s opinion. Talking heads are talking heads, doesn’t matter how much experience you have. It’s all an opinion. -

Yeah. What’s the difference? Anyone giving opinions on ESPN or any platform is the same. Front office executives opinions on players is no better or accurate than any of our opinions. -

Brandon Aiyuk officially requests a trade
Buffalo_Stampede replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
49ers will sign Aiyuk. If they were going to trade him they would’ve traded him before the draft. They won’t have a high cap QB for a couple years depending how they structure Purdy. They’re trying to win a Super Bowl at all costs. -

I never pay attention to any national media criticizing Josh Allen. It’s all for clicks. We would be better off ignoring it. -
Boomer Esiason speculating Devonte Adams will be traded.

His WR1 was Allen Lazard and he still finished 7th in TD passes. Now he has Garrett Wilson, Mike Williams, and Lazard.
