Here is the interview you're probably thinking of where Frazier talks about not liking to make adjustments during games. Start listening at 2:55 minutes. Then he talks again about hating to make adjustments at 6:45 minutes. Unbelievable stuff here. -
I think of Charles Woodson going to Green Bay also when Aaron Rodgers won it. There's a free agent that won't get a lot of love around here but DT/DE Calais Campbell would be a great signing for toughness and veteran leadership on the DL. He's very close with Rousseau. We have a young DL with talent. A lot of high picks. Some guidance from a player like Campbell could be a big boost. Patrick Peterson in the secondary would also be a good move.

To me it's been players mostly not making tackles. Definitely in the Houston game. Even in the division game vs the Chiefs Mahomes was running all over the place. They made him move from his pocket a lot of the game but couldn't make a play upfront. I honestly don't remember the Jags game in detail but they didn't give up much.

Why are people always talking pass rusher?
Buffalo_Stampede replied to Marvlevydraftdaygenius's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Rams had the #1 defense in 2020. Gave up 32 points and 500 yards in a loss to Aaron Rodgers in the division round last year. In 2019 the Patriots had the #1 defense and gave up 200 yards rushing to the Titans in a loss in the wild card round. We have good coaches. They made a couple bad decisions in the playoffs. They deserve criticism, but be better Bills fans. You don't fire a coach like Frazier over that. We don't even know what happened. -

Stunts are a huge part of the Bills defense. They are typically called by the players. Blitzing isn't a huge part of the defense and Blitzing good QB's typically isn't smart football. -

Mahomes was seeing so much 2 high safeties that he wasn't prepared for single high and 8 in Coverage. Had Buffalo rushed 3 or even 2 with 13 seconds we win the game. Heck don't rush anyone. Ugh. -

People really want to give Frazier the credit for the 13 seconds. That was all Sean McDermott. He called timeout twice to make sure they were in the defense he wanted. Doesn't make it any better but McDermott owns those defensive calls. Listening to Bruce it sounds like the players were out of position. That's still coaching but what we saw on the field wasn't the plan. -
Harrison Phillips looking really good.

Could be a Belichick thing but Josh McDaniel also was a defensive QC for NE. -

They're saying the weather events in Buffalo make for good drama. I wonder now if the reason every network makes such a big deal about Buffalo weather is because they are told to talk about it. I honestly believe that's because Buffalo was bad for so long the weather was the only thing interesting about Bills games. -

80% of the seats covered was mentioned here. Also says it would be $300 million more to build a dome. So I don't know if the architects and engineers in this thread are correct. -

This is in Minnesota. So probably a good stadium to research how weather is inside the stadium. I must say, this is a nice looking stadium. -

So building costs are about the same but maintenance and operation costs higher? Ok. So in your opinion which option is cheaper? -

Are you arguing a partial roof is more expensive to build and maintain then a closed roof? -

A closed roof would have to hold a lot more weight. You'd need to build to support the weight. Plus maintaining it. -

Not at all. Completely different. Especially for maintenance. -

No dome. 80% of the seats will be covered. It's going to built like one of the modern soccer stadiums. Most likely due to costs, even though they say they want outdoor football. -
Are we over-reacting to the 13 seconds?
Buffalo_Stampede replied to cv05's topic in The Stadium Wall
Started watching some of the plays closer. The Tyreek hill TD. WHY? The Bills call press man across the board. I love Poyer and Hyde but they take some terrible angles sometimes. Poyer screwed up earlier on the long Hardman TD run also. Milano is still chasing some no name TE with his back turned as Hill is breaking free. Milano had no idea what was going on. Hill was literally running up Milano's back and Milano had no idea. I think the coaches were so afraid of their own players that they played it soft. The PLAYERS couldn't have played the Hill TD any worse. Remember this was the last play before 13 seconds. We've seen our best players get outplayed in big moments before. McDermott doesn’t trust these guys and honestly they've given him no reason to in those moments.
