  1. I wish the Bills threw in some 3 man rushes vs KC. I don't think man is the answer vs KC. We're not going to pay for the type of man CBs needed, and even those guys are getting beat by Hill. The Bills coaches just have to have a better plan and adjust better to Mahomes making plays out of the pocket.
  2. I agree. I've always liked Phillips. It took him some time to return from the injury.
  3. Phillips was doing more snaps than Oliver as the season went on. We're going to be shocked at his number. I'm going to guess 7+ million per year.
  4. That's the thing though, the game itself is the talent. I prefer less talk during games. I want to hear the sounds of the game.
  5. It seems to me like networks are wasting money. No one watches football games for the play by play crew.
  6. We'll see less of a rotations just based on roster numbers. Last year we had 6 DE's that got legitimate snaps. We won't have that many this year. At DT I would like to see Ed Oliver get the majority of the snaps. Then rotate next to him.
  7. I think it's very likely one of Matakevich and Jones will be on the roster. The Bills likely have a budget set for special teams. I know some fans think this isn't a smart front office but they likely have a plan for the cap. I can see a situation where Jones is back at a lesser price. Matakevich had a 3+ cap hit when he first signed 2 years ago.
  8. Gosselin ranked them 8th in special teams. Whatever that means. Again, he's a main backup on defense as well. McDermott likes him in that role.
  9. I mean not shocking. They gave Siran Neal backup depth DB money when any undrafted free agent could've filled the position. Heck, why even waste cap space on backup players? Beane doesn't know what he's doing. Super Bowl teams don't have any backups.
  10. Hoping Russ Brandon can bring this rule to the NFL. One of the most exciting plays in sports is a kickoff return. I miss them.
  11. This take and others like it should be saved for Taiwan Jones. Neal is a multiple player for the Bills.
  12. He's our top nickle depth as well. Learn your team. He's a core player. His cap hit will be around $3 million. In your scenario you want a new gunner and a new depth nickle. The chances you get a rookie to do both are slim. So now you're taking up 2 roster spots and probably more cap to do what Neal can do. Plus he's a core player in the locker room.
  13. It's interesting to me how many Bills fans dislike core players on this team. Neal is a core player.
  14. I'm guessing it's closer to $8 million in real cap.
  15. I have PTSD. Gabriel Davis has to change his number also. Just a friends trip, but I'm sure he'd love to play with Josh. It'll come down to money like most free agents.
  16. This message is terrible lately. Neal is a core special teams player. He'll probably be special teams captain this year. Exactly.
  17. I've been waiting a while for someone to ask this hard hitting question.
  18. Knowing how much Josh loves The Office now, is there any doubt he ran like that as a joke?
  19. Kirk wears number 13. No thanks.
  20. I think a while back a similar thing happened. Marcus Stroud was the bigger name but Richard Seymour went higher. Both DTs were drafted top 15 though. Seymour was a player that could do more. As for our pick, it's likely to be the best available CB, DL, OL, or WR. All positions have depth issues.
  21. That's also probably the only reason we know about this. Kim Pegula got her revenge.
