Nothing in the CBA says you can’t sign fully guaranteed contracts. A lot of people believe the Watson contract changed the league. We’ll see.

CB depth will be addressed. They let Wallace walk at $2.5m cap hit. There’s a plan at CB. We just don’t know what it is yet. I’m not an expert on the 2016 Carolina Panthers defense but yeah they lost a lot of their veteran leaders from 2015. I don’t see the same approach with the Bills defense.

I know who we’ve faced. You’re missing the point. It doesn’t matter. There are only 10-12 good QBs in the NFL and you stop them with pass rush. Good QBs are good for a reason. They put up points and stats vs everyone. And to counter your point as of today how many good passing offenses do we face next year? Maybe 5? Depends how you view Lamar Jackson and Kirk Cousins.

Pass rush failed not DBs. I don’t understand these takes about the QBs we face, they dominate below average QBs. Good QBs are good vs any defense. The best way to slow down good QBs is with front 4 pressure.

I might be crazy but I think our CB1 is actually Taron Johnson. Just based on how we play defense. Watched a lot of Breece Hall and I don’t see anything that separates him from RBs that will be available in the 3rd round.

NFL contracts are weird and I don’t understand why the players keep agreeing to them. But unless it’s “fully guaranteed” it’s not really guaranteed. If you read “$50 million guaranteed” it doesn’t actually mean fully guaranteed. There are different types of guaranteed money. Could just be injury guarantees. If it’s just injury guarantees he can be released without getting that money.

It’s one of those things you shouldn’t think about until training camp. Especially with the amount of veteran CBs still out there in free agency. Its also a position the Bills have filled with below average players outside of White and been very successful.

Anyone agree with me on this? The Bills have a deep threat and it’s Stefon Diggs? They just don’t use it enough? Also maybe coverage doesn’t allow it. Now I’m hoping we draft a WR that can take safety attention away from Diggs.

It does. He’s probably saying the agent told him Washington made an offer now and this is why they didn’t before. Mckissic seems like a simple man. He just wanted to stay in Washington. I don’t think anything else mattered. His agent already knew that. If you look at the contract it’s likely exactly the same as the one the Bills offered. It has 3 void years. I don’t think Washington would do that many void years.

No one is talking about it but there’s been very little extension talk for our best defensive player last year Jordan Poyer. Heading into the final year of his contract. Safety is not a luxury pick.

Fitzpatrick isn’t the best decision maker. He basically plays like sophomore year Josh Allen without the talent of Josh Allen.

It’s never going to be his game. He’s got to think the game faster. That takes time to develop. Drew Brees use to hit Brandin Cooks in stride. Maybe not 60 yards down field but 30-40 yards on time and on the money.

Tua will improve as he begins to read defense better. He’s going to be a qb that beats you with timing, accuracy, and decision making. There is a lot of room to grow for Tua. We’ll just have to wait and see. If he learns to get the ball out on time and to the right WR he can be very good. Arm strength is a small part of playing QB.

I think what you mean is you can get value later in the draft. There’s always a middle- late round pick that produces. I will say this though, if you hit on a low 1st-2nd round RB you do get great value. He’s got to be special though. 3 down RB that is a workhouse and playmaker.

Based on recent history he should be ready for camp and preseason but you never know. Sometimes players come back and favor the injured knee and suffer a different injury. I would bet on him being cleared by camp but we won’t know if he’s fully back until he gets some real football tests.

Those guys bust as well.
