  1. Not at all. He has elite recognition skills. He could play anywhere on our defensive secondary. Fit is always the most important thing for a DB, especially CB. Not every CB can play in every defense. I just see a great fit.
  2. Congratulations you received my very first ever dislike.
  3. I felt the same after recently spending some time watching him.
  4. Yeah but he had to know he’s a $10 million CB at the least. That’s a significant addition.
  5. I don’t know what to make of the Bills interest in Gilmore.
  6. I was ready to read something new but turns out it’s the same stuff we always read about. Yes, we know. Personally, I care about the Bills. There are many other things my tax dollars pay for that I don’t care about.
  7. I see people saying $2-3 million and also people saying $5 million. But the Bills can clear that with a Poyer or Edmunds extension.
  8. She’s a 10 also.
  9. We’re going on 2 offseasons without adding anything significant at CB. They definitely think Dane Jackson can start. I think with White’s injury they will add a starting caliber CB. We’ll see. They also like Cam Lewis a lot.
  10. Every year CBs drafted in the late 1st early 2nd do start immediately. I just figured they’d want more security.
  11. Dawkins, White, and Allen restructures. Convert base into bonus. Comes to around $10 million cap space. There are other things they can do also like extend Poyer or Edmunds. Many people are wondering that exact same thing. Why haven’t they secured a CB yet? Why not sign a CB2 over TE2 (Howard) DT4 (Phillips), DE4 (Lawson), CB4(Neal) or WR4 (McKenzie)? All those depth positions could’ve been drafted and be less than $2 million total cap. Instead they spent a decent amount of cap filling those depth roles while CB2 is left unfilled. Maybe it’s as simple as they already have a verbal agreement with someone like Joe Haden but are wait to them until after the draft. This is a very likely scenario.
  12. We have the ability to clear $10 million in cap anytime. They can literally do anything they want at CB. Draft picks, especially late in the 1st are not guaranteed to be ready early in the season. That’s the big issue relying on draft picks.
  13. We will all find out very soon what the plan is. Dane Jackson is definitely thought of very highly by the Bills staff. He didn’t have the best camp last year but as soon as he had to play he performed exactly how they thought he would. A rookie likely won’t start the season over Dane Jackson.
  14. But you never know who’s going to be available. I’m sure there will be 2-3 CBs added in the next few weeks. Wallace walked for about $3 million cap hit. This contract for Nelson isn’t bad at all. Nelson is a player they’ve been interested in. It’s just surprising to me they wouldn’t sign Nelson or even Wallace at these prices. Im not being critical of them, I just can’t wait to see what they do. I know there is a plan.
  15. Blue cheese is for dipping pizza also.
  16. No one has ever gasped or looked at me funny for ordering chicken fingers at a bar to watch the game. It’s a myth my fellow boneless lovers. You won’t be banished. Order with confidence.
  17. My point is there will be zero dynamic WRs available at 25. I do love Pickens but at 25 that would be considered a reach. I also like Dotson. Play as in start or play if needed?
  18. Chicken fingers > Chicken Wings No debate. I hate eating off a bone like a caveman. I went to college so I can afford boneless meat. 😏
  19. I think the Colts are signing him. Sending a private jet and everything. And he still didn’t get a big contract. I’m starting to wonder if the Bills have different plans at CB than we’re talking about. We’ll see soon enough.
  20. I see lot of those scouting reports. It’s funny because slot CBs are typically great in man against smaller quicker WRs and safeties aren’t. It’s such a weird projection for Hill. Probably because he played a lot in the slot and at safety. I liked his instincts in off coverage. He’s 6’ and runs 4.3. I think he’ll make an excellent outside in our scheme. If he fails there he moves to safety.
  21. I see him as an off the ball outside CB in our scheme. I can also see him, Johnson, Poyer, and Hyde moving around in the slot at times and coming on the blitz. It’ll be nice to have those interchangeable parts. Offense won’t know what they’re seeing.
