    He’ll be 24 when the season starts. 29 at the end of his 1st contract. Probably an immediate starter and impact LB day 1 but he’s the same age as Edmunds.

    I’m guessing Harrison Smith is the deal Poyer is looking for. Hyde maybe as well. 4 years $64 million $26 million guaranteed at 32 years old. Both players are playing at this level.

    It’s not what you want to offer. It’s what offer can you make to beat other offers. The starting point would be our 1st and 2nd this year. Then you know another team will beat that easily since we pick late. We’re talking minimum of 3 draft picks probably 2022 1st, 2022 2nd, and a high pick next year. Plus a big contract. This has the Jets written all over it.

    They’re going to draft as their board dictates. Positions not high on their board is short, QB, K, and P. Everything else is in play at 25. Ok no long snappers.

    We don’t know where the cap will be but I just can’t see all that cap in 2 WRs. If Allen were just starting his rookie deal sure. plus we have to give up cheap high draft picks.

    There is no way to have Diggs and Samuel. It would be a waste of assets.

    I’m not against a RB in the late 1st or early 2nd. You just have to make sure you get a workhorse. I think drafting Zion Johnson would help improve the run game more than any RB in the draft.

    What made it so great was the sell at the 1st down marker. DB was sure they would try to get the 1st, not a TD.
