They’re scoring but the passing game isn’t fine. I don’t think Beasley is the answer.

It’s going to depend how the season goes. Right now the passing offense is trending down. It hasn’t been weather related either. 1st 6 games 330 ypg 13 TDs and 4 INTs. The last 5 240 ypg 6 TDs and 7 ints. Josh is a rare QB that can still put up points with those horrendous passing numbers. The Bills average 27 ppg over this 5 game stretch. Allen is amazing. But focusing on the passing game, it’s been a struggle.

Very different types of WRs. Davis is mostly a product of scramble drill catches and schemed deep balls.

This game will be about which OT gets Josh Allen hit more, Quessenberry or Spencer Brown. Run Josh RUUUUN!

Which is why I defended the strategy. They were all in on Davis, and weren’t drafting his replacement in the 1st round last year. But, he was wrong about Davis being that guy. When you’re wrong you get criticized. Beane deserves criticism for how he’s handled WR.

Spencer Brown is so bad that I thought about Bobby Hart today.

If WR is the reason we fail to reach our goal then Beane will take heat. It was the main topic of the offseason. I think the fact Gabe Davis has not taken the step forward that we all thought he would is the biggest problem.

I’m sure he’ll be fine.

They have plenty of cap space. We’re not cap rich but we can add some cap credit if you get what I’m saying. Josh Allen restructure is the easiest way to add cap space with little risk of huge dead money issues. He has a $27 million base salary next year that can be converted into bonus.

Miami is also better today. People forget our offense was the problem that day. Not so much that they couldn’t move the ball, they couldn’t finish drives or turned it over. Miami had about 200 total yards. Tua only missed 1 series at the end of the half.

They deserve the hype. I don’t understand the lack of respect for them. They are a worthy opponent. Hopefully we’re healthier when we face them.

He’s not fine. He drops balls and can’t catch contested balls because he has horrible technique with his hands. He gets one hand under the ball and then comes down with the other hand on top. It’s such a weird way of catching the football.

It’s pretty obvious now what the plan was. Give him a training camp and preseason games. Camp lasts 6 weeks, White practiced 6 weeks before playing. Preseason game is typically 1-2 series, White played 2 series. We should expect White to play a quarter or into the 2nd quarter vs NE. Then after that I think he gets a full game.

Mid season vibes - Just win baby.

I don’t know. Davis’ role in the offense hasn’t changed much. His snaps have gone way up, but scheme wise still the same. He’s on the field with Diggs and seeing similar coverages. Our offense IMO is better this year vs last year. Josh has made some boneheaded mistakes in the redzone. Last year Knox was a beast in the redzone.

Key players. You said it. We can’t be without Hyde, White, Edmunds, Rousseau, and Miller at the same time. No defense is overcoming that in the playoffs. This is the type of stuff they’ve delt with all year. They get players back and another couple players are out. It’s been Hyde, Poyer, Oliver, Phillips, White. Or Hyde, Poyer, White, Milano, Rousseau. It’s just never ending. Half the defense is always out. Give me a defense just missing Miller and Hyde, we can get by.

What I’m saying is we have to get healthier. We can go far without Von Miller but we can’t go far with half the starting defense out. Von signed here because we were already Super Bowl caliber. But we need to get healthier.

We can get very good WR depth in rounds 2-3. I think OL also has to be priority.
