Definitely sounds like Buffalo to me. Come in. Practice and work for 4 weeks. Then play in the playoffs.
Im guessing he signs next week. Gives him 4 weeks of practice before the playoffs.
I think Rhodes is going to be the guy at opposite Tre. This will help with the loss of Hyde. He’ll always be in good position. Hamlin has already replaced Hyde very well. That isn’t an issue. In fact his physical nature could help in the playoffs. Made a poor read vs NE on the screen. That was his first major mistake I feel. Poyer roaming around with Hamlin works.
We’ll be a more physical defensive unit in the playoffs. The coaching staff will likely have to dial up key blitzes. I don’t know if the front 4 will get the pressure.
At WR I think Crowder will be ready for the playoffs. John Brown will be fresh. Sanders and Beasley were both at the end. I think this is a draw.
The drive before Crosby was held on like 3 straight plays without a call. Ends in TD. The spread was 6.5 and the Rams needed TD to get it within 6. Ends up costing the Raiders the game.
🤔
It seems obvious he wants to go back to NYG. His next choice is Dallas. If he can’t get the deal he wants from those teams I think Buffalo is where he accepts a playoff deal to help improve his 2023 contract.
34 years old coming off an ACL. We can’t cut him for 2 more seasons, he’ll miss half of next season. This one is going to hurt. $18 million next year, $21 million the following year. Yikes. That’s a lot of cap space that we can’t do anything about.
This was the absolute worst case scenario with Von Miller signing.
He will but we don’t shadow WRs. We didn’t have White, Poyer, or Rhodes playing. Milano was also out but he may miss this one as well.
Just having those veterans in the defensive backfield still make a huge difference.
We would’ve been much improved on the DL keeping Hughes and adding Jones, Phillips, and Lawson.
But we signed Miller for the playoffs. That’s the frustrating part of the injury. Now we need someone to step up that can at least be as good as Hughes was for us. Shaq Lawson is the guy. He’s got to step up opposite Rousseau.
