  1. I don’t think anyone knows what is going to happen week 18. Everything is on schedule as of now.
  2. It’s possible everyone was treating this like other serious injuries. 5 minute warmup and play is probably common procedure. Once Hamlin was taken off the field I want to believe everyone, including the NFL, realized this is different and the game cannot go on.
  3. I don’t believe that they wanted it to continue. The wording is key. Continuing the game was definitely an option in real time. We’ve seen games continue after players were taken off in an ambulance.
  4. I don’t think it matters honestly. It was all live. The NFL and ESPN were getting information live with us. Everything happens quickly. The one thing I do know is the heroes on the field trying to save Hamlin had zero thoughts about updating the NFL and ESPN about what was happening. The NFL probably had many different scenarios depending on the information they were receiving. Everything was happening fast.
  5. It’s interesting listening to doctors disagreeing with each other. We hear someone is a doctor and we automatically think they are right. Doctors do disagree with other doctors.
  6. Yeah. I just read this. So now we just wait. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/treatment-tests-and-therapies/therapeutic-hypothermia-after-cardiac-arrest
  7. It was very similar but I don’t think Bills players received a positive response from Hamlin as the Blues players received from Pronger. Hamlin wasn’t breathing on his own. Right now we just wait until they wake him from the induced coma. I’ve read they wait 24hrs from when the coma was induced as procedure. So we won’t have any news until early tomorrow morning.
  8. Its amazing how we just have to move forward with life after a traumatic experience
  9. This has happened in the NHL multiple times believe it or not. From my understanding all players recovered.
  10. My initial thought was Terry and Kim Pegula. But they mean Bills and Bengals owners.
  11. Dane Jackson was the 1st player on the field to see Hamlin collapse. He’s Hamlin’s best friend. He was also taken to the hospital in an ambulance after a hit this season. I can’t even imagine.
  12. That’s positive news. Something respiratory rather than heart related.
  13. He has a pulse but can’t breathe. I wonder if it’s not heart related but respiratory.
  14. I don’t think so. If he was under an emergency they’d be gone to the hospital.
  15. They can’t play until they know their teammate is in stable condition.
  16. 37-20 Bengals. Bills aren’t ready for the jungle.
  17. That’s probably the reason. Eye opening is Gabe Davis doesn’t get open. At least not with route running.
