Pretty much. This D call isn’t who the Bills are on defense so it goes against most of the criticism of Frazier. Nothing was working. They did try different things. This was an example of that.

I don’t know, you tell me. They’re the best 3 rd and medium also. I don’t know if they’re the best 3rd and short. I know Josh makes something out of nothing at times but so does Mahomes. Basically you’re saying we’re number 1 because of Josh. By the way we were never this good under Daboll. We were great, 2nd and 4th the last 2 years, but better in 2022.

Is that why we’re #1 on 3rd down? I don’t know how you can criticize an OC for 3rd down when they succeed on 3rd down better than everyone else. Thats a hard argument to make.

Frazier is the longest tenured DC by far in the NFL. Frazier hired in 2017. Every DC but 2 hired 2021 or later by next year. The 2 DC’s are the ones that beat us, Lou Anarumo and Steve Spagnola. You guys might be right, it’s time:

I thought I heard him say he prefers off. That’s not what he said so I stand corrected. I found what he said. He said he doesn’t like to jam WRs with his hands because they can grab and pull him. he likes to use his feet more than hands. It was an interview where he breaks down film on NFL network.

You need CBs that play that style. Drafting Elam and Benford was sign they know what they need to be, but they were afraid to be it.

I want the Bills to move in a different direction from Ed Oliver. Try to acquire a top level DT this offseason to pair with Jones.

We did improve in areas as the season went on. Redzone offense was terrible at the start and then improved to one of the best. Run game improved. What seemed to happen over the year though was Allen looking for the bigger play rather than the right play. Last year under Daboll the Bills offense stalled as the season went on, but then got hot when it mattered most. I have zero worries about the offense. Add a WR and LG. Let’s roll.

I’m 50/50, coaching/players being responsible for the defensive playoff failures. I hate that Von Miller wasn’t available. The reason being is we knew these players weren’t good enough so we added Von. Von was the only major change. Changes will definitely happen with the starting roster due to cap. I think we’re going to see defensive coaching changes, not sure what level. Could be position coaches. The defense will look different next year no matter what we do.
