  1. It’s about personnel matching. Our defense was never very physical upfront with our LBs. Depends a lot on DB tackling. It works. Sometimes we do get run over but it’s rare that we lose because of it.
  2. He’s definitely a box safety or hybrid LB in our defense.
  3. Let’s add another Rams Leonard Floyd now.
  4. I think he could be more of a LB hybrid for us than a replacement for Hyde/Poyer.
  5. More teams running mostly 11 personnel it makes sense to defend the pass first and worry about the run later. Why do you want big bodies out there vs 3 WRs and a pass catching TE?
  6. This could set up re-signing AJ Klein for early down work and go with 3 safeties and 3 CBs on passing downs.
  7. Wonder if the Bills are planning on using him in sub packages. Milano and 3 safeties 3 CBs on the back end.
  8. We’re not upgrading any of them this year. Key word is upgrade. No one we draft is starting over any of the players mentioned. The only possibility is Spencer Brown. And we don’t have a lot of holes to fill. Minus MLB we’re deeper than we were last season as the Super Bowl favorites.
  9. Kind of how I felt. WR draft stinks this year.
  10. I honestly don’t know why we’re so down on Bernard? Such a mystery to me.
  11. I’ve changed how I view ILB. I don’t want the size to take on linemen I want length for coverage. Henley has 33 inch arms, which are the longest of the top LBs.
  12. He’s more of a Milano type.
  13. Atlanta should be all over this trade.
  14. Geez. So you’re trying to upgrade Gabe Davis, Ryan Bates, Spencer Brown, James Cook, and Ed Oliver in this draft? And also fill starting MLB?
  15. Who could you possibly upgrade with draft picks besides MLB and OT? Who are you upgrading that plays significant snaps?
  16. Reset sure but that’s like $50 million in cap space off the books in 4 players. We’ll be fine because we have the main piece to build around.
  17. I don’t see so many roster spots needing improvement? MLB and OT are starting positions they must improve in the draft. Depth wise they could probably draft any position.
  18. Impossible to know for who but there’s typically movement late in the 1st.
  19. I wasn’t sold but I understood that the Bills needed to find out if he can be a WR2 before drafting his replacement. He did earn those snaps he got last year. You typically don’t draft slot only WRs high in the draft. So spending a 1st is technically replacing Davis.
  20. That’s not the point. Bad value because they are positions you can easily find starters.
  21. What? Whitner was a draft and start from day 1. Spiller could’ve easily started as a rookie. Same as James Cook. We had starters already at RB.
  22. MLB is a very easy position to fill if you’re willing to spend a 1st or high 2nd them. MLB, RB, and S are pretty easy fills with high picks.
