  1. He’s not that much of a liability you’re making him out to be.
  2. Don’t have him on the sidelines half of the offensive snaps. The GM literally said they drafted him for his receiving ability. Use it.
  3. Eagles are on another level. Beane does do it but he needs to do it more aggressively starting this offseason.
  4. When it comes to Cook there’s an easy way to make Cook happy and also keep his cap hits low! VOID YEARS. Use them. Make a 4-5 year run at a Super Bowl. Worry about cap ramifications in 5 years.
  5. He was drafted to play 3 downs. He can. But I think the Bills have to either sign him or trade him. I hate when teams play the franchise tag game or make a player hold out. Make a decision. He’s either worth it or not.
  6. His playoff performance was special to me. I think he is different. I definitely thought he was replaceable but imo there’s untapped potential. Very few miles on him. He’s also by far our most explosive player on offense.
  7. They aren’t paying him Barkley money. That ship just sailed. That was yesterday’s argument. Barkley will now make a lot more than Cook, even at $15 million AAV. They can because they won’t have a $30 million WR and won’t have one for years.
  8. His value is somewhere around 4-5% of the cap. $14 million is probably the right answer.
  9. $15 million is a lot less than $20 million.
  10. Huh? Completely different offenses and situations. It was never said. They were looking for an alpha WR1 back then. They aren’t looking for an alpha WR1 anymore. At least this offseason. They are looking for a complimentary piece that fits into their receiver rotation.
  11. They aren’t bringing in a WR that needs 100+ targets.
  12. You’re not complaining about one of the best offenses buffalo has ever had, right? They do need to add speed outside or another YAC WR. Adams just doesn’t fit what they’re doing. Either does Amari Cooper, which is why he was an afterthought here.
  13. Doesn’t fit what the Bills are doing on offense. Bills need a deep threat or a YAC WR.
  14. You’re missing the point. A contract holdout is not something the Bengals need. We’d be furious in Buffalo if this happened in Buffalo. Doing it for a second straight season would be a disaster for the Bengals.
  15. He won’t be good with it. It’ll be another distraction to start their season. It won’t go over well.
  16. Doesn’t mean much. He’ll be traded or signed long-term. Burrow wants him.
  17. Yeah. He’s still fast. Offers a speed element and skillset to get behind a defense. He’d be a piece of the offense, not a focal point. They still say they want the “everybody eats” approach.
  18. Fits the same role at a smaller cost. If released he won’t count against the compensatory formula. Similar player to John Brown.
  19. Allen just had his most efficient season ever without having a WR he must force feed to keep happy. Im being completely honest. I don’t know if Allen even needs a top WR.
  20. WR value is all over the place. Deebo is 2 years older. Metcalf probably a 2nd.
  21. I think last year Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott learned that they can still compete for a Super Bowl even if they have huge dead cap amounts. They can still compete for a Super Bowl even when the roster isn’t as good due to cap restrictions. So I think it’s possible they say ok, let’s go for it for a couple years here. Sell off future assets, picks and cap space, to give it our best shot to win a Super Bowl. I think there are so many reasons for the Bills to go chips all in for 2025. I think it’s going to happen.
  22. 98% of the league would love our failure. Smith is a better player and more durable. But yes, Smoot was a decent signing. Just has health issues.
  23. It’s just saying we’re interested. Doesn’t guarantee anything. I think they will sign a veteran pass rusher as depth while also trying to upgrade starters. He does make sense.
