  1. I’ll wait and see what Von Miller says. But he and Gabe Davis completely different positions.
  2. RBs really do need to be paid more. Can’t even pay off anyone nowadays.
  3. Not true at all. People just make up stuff on here.
  4. They have a lot of slot players though. Not sure he makes the team.
  5. Hurts is a good player with a great team around him.
  6. That’s what he gets for not signing Hopkins.
  7. Exactly. Most owners want to win. If paying a RB like other top positions helped them win then they would do it.
  8. You’re missing the whole point. Money is shared multiple ways. Between players and owners but also between players. There is nothing that can be done without affecting other players. The teams are spending money as written in the CBA. If you think something can be done then say it. Shorter contracts is not a solution. It would create more issues. RBs aren’t the only position with a beef. I also don’t think shorter contracts helps anyone besides the few elite RBs. The union is representing all players and all RBs. Not just Saquan Barkley. Teams carry 4 RBs on a roster. More RBs flooding the system wouldn’t help get them paid.
  9. It was a gun, not his 🍆, so it’s ok.
  10. Every position would want that and you’d be right back where they started with QBs and WRs getting big deals earlier. Also veteran players would be left behind. They aren’t changing the rules for a few RBs.
  11. What is a possible solution? I haven’t heard anything that makes sense yet. To pay one position more means you take from another position. Simply adding more cap doesn’t mean RBs would get it. Also RBs don’t want to simply be paid more, they want to be paid like other higher paid positions. So if there was more money available they still wouldn’t be happy because they’ll still never be paid nearly as much as WRs. Teams aren’t paying RBs because they can get cheaper younger options. How do you fix that? I don’t think the Union can do anything.
  12. Exactly. The problem is there are a lot of RBs. Some star RBs didn’t even start on their college teams. Look at the Bills. I believe Cook and Harris didn’t even start in college but became starters in the NFL. Alabama and Georgia have had multiple allpro RBs on the same teams. There are just so many good RBs available. Becoming UFA earlier will help a few RBs but it’s not changing anything. We’ve seen Zeke and Gurley sign deals at 23-24 years old. Those contracts weren’t good for the teams. Edit: Harris did start. Josh Jacobs, Najee Harris, and Brian Robinson were his backups. Alabama always seems to have 2-3 NFL RBs every year. Point remains, there’s always RBs.
  13. It won’t work out well for them. There’s just too many capable RBs.
  14. If your coworker made twice as much as you wouldn’t you complain? Doesn’t matter if you’re rich or not. Like every job though you’re paid what you’re worth to those paying you.
  15. I thought all rookies shared a room?
  16. What do they do for a week? Lol. Have meetings? It just seems really early. I thought they reported like a day or two early.
  17. I think most fans would say centers are more important than RBs. Maybe not.
  18. Why do rookies report a week early?
  19. And what are you saying?
  20. The biggest thing here is in order to pay RBs more you have to take money from somewhere else. Meaning other positions or owners. Also if the owners agree to give more money they aren’t going to want to pay RBs. There really isn’t a solution unless owners and other NFL players feel bad and want to give their money to RBs.
  21. He is worth that to the Giants. The Giants feel it would be harder to replace Jones than Barkley.
  22. I’ve always felt you get paid what you’re worth. If you’re worth more you’ll get more. It’s like WNBA players saying they deserve more. No. If people wanted to spend money on the WNBA then you would get more.
  23. He’s definitely starting quality. There aren’t 64 better OG’s. Bates is not a problem for us. How many games did you watch and come away saying Bates was a problem?
  24. 3 WR sets is base offense in todays league.
