I’ll send this to Brandon Beane and McDermott. It’s sad that they developed Elam into a soft CB because he was supposed to be exactly what we’re missing. A physical man CB. Watching him bail out all night made me sad.

No he didn’t. Threw the ball to the Chiefs twice, dropped. Fumbled twice, we recovered. He was not running the tush push like he normally does. On one he literally goes backwards first. The final 4th down he makes the wrong protection call vs Spags blitz. On the same play misses Shakir wide open because of his wrong protection call. Mistakes in critical moments. Mahomes rarely makes them. Almost have to be perfect vs KC in the playoffs.

Yes. And everyone makes mistakes in the big moments. Allen didn’t play great yesterday. He definitely wasn’t as good as Mahomes.

Because they are right there. If these games went like the 2020 game every year then McDermott would be gone. You don’t accept these losses. Never. No one does.

He’s the perfect depth WR. Emphasis on DEPTH! Can’t have Coleman and Hollins on the field 60% of the time unless there is injury.

The answers are yes and no. Maybe McDermott and Allen can do what Cowher/Tomlin and Roethlisberger did. Win super bowls by avoiding having to play the dynasty team. Roethlisberger has 2 Super Bowls and didn’t have to beat NE in either one.

That’s completely not true. Shakir was WIDE OPEN. He’s hit that play this year also. Allen predetermined his options that play and Spags knew what he was going to do. It didn’t help that Torrence blocks no one, that’s really what killed the play.

To me it looked like he hit the line, which should give him the first. The catch/interception was tough. I see it hit the ground but it doesn’t move. So that’s a tough one to overturn.

Ugh. Just watched the 4th down. Torrence had no idea who to block. Ugh! He lets 2 players rush right up the middle which forces Josh to run. Also Josh was completely fooled. Shakir might score with his run after catch ability. Josh predetermined that he was going to Cooper on the drag or Kincaid on the deep crosser. He was wrong.

I watched slow JuJu Smith Schuster shake our best CB on the field in man coverage for a huge catch and run in crunch time. All I see are coaching threads.

What fans are looking for out of McDermott is the call Spags made on 4th down. Completely fooled Josh Allen with the CB blitz and won the game. I’ve seen McDermott make this call vs Mahomes in the regular season and win the game, but he hasn’t made a game winning call in the playoffs yet. As for the Chiefs being better. They are always the more talented team. They have better impact players. Allen and Mahomes basically cancel each other out.

Tush push calls are on Josh Allen, not coaching. Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to the opponent. Basically every coach gets fired without a top QB. Not every coach has the same success as McDermott with a top QB. Give me Andy Reid or Sean McVay. That’s about the end of the list of coaches I would replace McDermott with and feel confident we’re better.

Why? Allen was calling it quick. Those are Josh Allen calls. Plus we got the first twice, but I don’t like to dwell on officiating because it’s all subjective. Don’t let the refs have to make a close call.

I’ll repeat this. I feel so bad for us Bills fans. The fact so many fans want to fire the guy is sad. There isn’t another coach in the world that does better vs the Chiefs, but we believe someone will be better. Josh Allen has only gone lights out 1 time vs KC. It’s not like we’re blowing historic performance after historic performance. And that 1 historic performance vs KC wasn’t even better than Mahomes that day. The right plan is to keep chopping at that wood. We are so close.

Mahomes I believe is the better QB but they need impact defensive players to beat KC. They keep getting players that are at best role players. They do their job most of the time but can’t beat the man in front of them when asked to.

A lot of these were on Josh Allen guys. I would say all of them are but the coaches could probably tell him to do something different. I’m just tipping my hat to KC. No one stops that play like that and they did. Once again it’s their players on the DL being the difference. Last year it was Chris Jones pressure forcing Allen to miss an open WR.

I feel so bad for us Bills fans. The fact so many fans want to fire the guy is sad. This draft is terrible. And I’m normally very patient with grading draft classes.

We forget the other team has a Superhero playing QB as well.

I believe our lack of WR talent showed tonight. Chiefs attacked. So did the Ravens. There was no fear. Not much Brady and Kromer could’ve done. Have to win the matchups. A lot of single coverage.

There are no similarities. We’re literally right there with one of the greatest teams in NFL history. We do not have the talent the Chiefs have had.
