Bills and Josh Allen need to understand Gabe Davis is not a 2nd option. Forget about him. Build passing games around Diggs and Kincaid starting this week.

Jets aren’t that big at LB. They’re just good.

Speaking of screens. There was one play they set up a play to Harty which was kind of a handoff pass. The FB motions outside, Harty in the backfield. Allen throws quick to Harty with only the FB leading vs like the entire Jets defense. Obviously the play was blown up. Im not exactly sure what Dorsey was thinking when he drew up that play. No lineman got out in front of Harty to block. All stayed at the line of scrimmage. I think it was on the first FG drive but it stood out to me. It had zero chance of working. BUT I think it was read by Josh Allen to be honest. The WRs didn’t even block.

We’d be looking for a punter if he took on the blocker and returner at the same time.

The game plan didn’t seem bad to me watching live. A lot of short quick release passes designed to get the ball out and protect the QB. Allen is incapable of such a game plan though. His intrusive thoughts take over.

It was a bad call.

I thought Morse had a very poor game from watching live.

Same thing has been happening since McDermott arrived. We’re a defense that relies on everyone doing their 1/11. McDermott preaches it for a reason. Poyer and Hyde don’t do their role well in the run the game. When a RB gets through the front the safeties need to be that last line of defense but they usually take poor angles.

Allen is 0-5 in OT. OT was over before it started.

There is a Jet 15 yards away coming at Allen but he’s pretty good 1v1. He doesn’t run here. Throws back deep to Diggs and gets picked.

When do we blame Hailee Steinfield?

1 game doesn’t define you. It’s how you respond. Chiefs lost to the Colts last year. I had the Bills losing this game by double digits. I wasn’t expecting fans and media to wake up Tuesday feeling good about the Bills. But a lot changed after the Rodgers injury. The Bills let an easier game slip away. We’ll see how they respond.

I don’t know about Dorsey yet. Obviously can’t say good things but I want to see if Allen wasn’t seeing open receiving targets. He had a great call to Cook and Allen missed him. I also felt there were a couple plays that broke down immediately after snap like someone didn’t know the play so Allen kept it and ran up the middle.

Floyd was outstanding also. Can’t imagine our pass rush once Von is healthy. The Jets give Allen problems because they challenge our receivers to make plays. Allen is a great QB but he’s not the best at sitting in the pocket and going through progressions. If he doesn’t see something he likes he bails the pocket. Jets defense is also very disciplined. It’s a defense you have to dink and dunk against.

What’s crazy is Breece Hall obviously has lost a lot of speed. 4.38 guys don’t get caught by 4.5 guys. Poyer looking like a 4.9 guy.

Probably not Dorsey but definitely McDermott was probably all over him at halftime. The hop and a prayer happened after he refused to slide earlier and McDermott was seen yelling “play smarter “

Ok you didn’t watch the game. That was the 2nd quarter. They were up 10-3. He’s jumping into 3 Jets 7 yards from the first.

Yes. I want him to slide there. I want him to play smart football. On the INT to Diggs he had a clear running path to the 1st also. He just wasn’t very smart.
