Just had to get this off my chest because I’m just now listening to some postgame comments. McDermott said they were misaligned on the big 83 yard run. McDermott is never shy about using timeouts, we all know this. It’s kind of a running joke around here. But when he sees his defense outmatched due to alignment he doesn’t call timeout? This is the type of coaching that loses games. 😡

Probably because there was no story.

He reported it to the NFL. There was an NFL investigation years ago. No evidence was found.

It’s pretty crazy that there was an investigation and zero evidence found. But here we are years afterwards canceling Terry Pegula.

My mistake. Trotter heard about it on a zoom call with other reporters. The reporter alleged Pegula said it at a dinner. People at the dinner were interviewed and denied Pegula said it. ”The investigation took place shortly after the comment was brought to the league’s attention, and no one else from the dinner recalled the statement being made, according to this source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.”

Just read an article that says Trotter heard it from another person who was on a zoom call with Pegula and others. Apparently the NFL investigation said the people at the meeting didn’t hear Pegula say it.

I mean anyone concerned about Dorsey before the season would obviously still be concerned after that performance.

Context matters and I don’t think the comment was made to be racist. I think it was a dumb out of touch comment. Racism to me is thinking you’re superior based on the color of your skin. Some people actually believe blacks settled in America. That’s why the term African American is offensive to many. I don’t think it’s a form of racism. I think it’s a form of ignorance and stupidity. Very wealthy and successful people can be ignorant.

So from that comment you assume Terry Pegula dislikes black people? IMO that’s part of what’s wrong. It’s an insensitive comment. Out of touch comment. I don’t believe it’s a hateful comment.

Racism to me is hateful action or speech. I don’t think the comment is meant to be hateful.

I don’t think the comment was even racist. It was an incredibly dumb and insensitive comment.

I can understand missing Diggs because he was likely 3rd or 4th in the progression. He had Kincaid open immediately. But I’m guessing Gabe Davis was WR1 on this play, Kincaid the 2nd read. Allen never got to Kincaid.

I don’t think Josh was seeing the game well last night because of the Jets. There was one play I thought he hurt himself. He took off right away thinking the DL parted but they actually did a stunt and Allen ran right into the stunting DE.

Looked like he tried scratching him.

The problem I believe is Allen mostly as he wants to get Davis the football.

I thought Oliver had one of his best games as a Bill.
