  1. Problem I believe is Davis and Knox haven’t developed into that 2nd option they hoped for. Now it’s politics. Davis and Knox are popular players. Allen wants Davis to eat but he just doesn’t get open enough. He’s a play killer. But Allen finds him on broken plays mostly.
  2. Been going through this trade for a few weeks. It makes sense to me. We’d be getting a talented former 1st round WR with another year left on his contract and a 5th year option. The trade is Kaiir Elam for Rashod Bateman. Bateman could come in this year and push Davis. Learn the system. Then next year take over as WR2. Bateman has had a lot of injury history. Hasn’t taken off like expected. What would you say?
  3. In my world they haven’t brought in anyone to challenge Davis in 2 years. My world is real.
  4. But that’s kind of what I’ve been saying. It’s not a slight against Cook. Maybe it comes off that way because it does negate his production so far. Cook will be fine. I said last week Cook is only going to get better as the season goes on.
  5. Cover 1 is great to listen to but I find all of them way too positive about the Bills. Most of the breakdowns are positive.
  6. There’s so many people to listen to nowadays. Podcasts are great. I like listening to people that break down the game rather than just spews opinions.
  7. Speed will help but must play under control and take good angles. We can’t let 10 yard runs and 20 yard catches turn into 50 yard runs and 70 yard catches.
  8. They aren’t replacing Gabe Davis while he’s on the roster. We’ve already seen this.
  9. Wouldn’t be surprised if Poyer ends up on IR and the Bills use that spot for Von Miller.
  10. Neal is fast and athletic but just can’t put it together. Too bad. He did look different in preseason. Bills also like Cam Lewis a lot.
  11. If they had a roster spot for a safety I think they sign Marlowe off the Chargers practice squad. But right now we’re pretty deep at safety.
  12. Poyer was hurt also last year. Plus he’s declining. Hyde hasn’t shown decline yet. So pretty big difference. I agree. Plus Rapp and Hamlin have experience starting. I just don’t think Rapp is very good.
  13. A bunch of run plays as well. Not saying we’re better off with Rapp. Rapp is trash IMO.
  14. This year it’s been his tackling and run defense.
  15. Poyer was particularly terrible vs Miami in the playoffs. He’s carried his bad play in the playoffs into this season. Not good for an aging player.
  16. Which makes me think about that McDermott conversation on mic’d up during camp. I found it odd McDermott went over to Poyer to tell him how fast he looked. It was just an odd moment.
  17. Who are you taking off the field for 3 safeties? Always the issue with 3 safeties.
  18. It’ll probably be a committee approach with Rapp starting. Hamlin will get an opportunity though because Miami will make plays.
  19. It was such a beat down I didn’t notice him. Poyer currently has the lowest grade on the defense through 3 games. I think it’s the end for him.
  20. Rapp seems to lack football IQ. Give me Hamlin.
  21. He’s been actually very bad this season. Maybe his knees are the reason. He might have been the worst starting player on defense this year. Hamlin’s opportunity.
