I’m a little disappointed that McDermott didn’t have a 3 safety defense ready to go in case of injury. Or just for different looks. Rapp played ZERO snaps.
When Johnson was hurt I expected to see Rapp on the field some.
Was that after Johnson was injured?
Dodson just doesn’t look the part for me. Williams flies around. I would rather have him out on the field over Dodson. Let’s see if the game will slow down for him.
One snap he took his rush so wide I thought he was leaving the field.
Definitely rusty, or old, or finished. We’ll see. That’s the scary thing with older players, the end happens quickly. See Jordan Poyer. He’s done.
The travel issue seems to be a major talking point. I really don’t know what research the Bills used here.
I think I also heard someone say the plan was to stay up all day Friday after flying in. So they likely were exhausted Saturday. I don’t think 1 day is enough to get your energy back. But I’m not a sports scientist.
When you’re exhausted is when injuries can happen.
I watched the game everyone said he balled out in vs USC. He immediately got juked by Caleb Williams and whiffed on a tackle. I turned the game off.
Yesterday I saw the same thing. I don’t know what the Bills were thinking with this draft pick. He plays faster than his mind thinks. Hopefully he can learn to control it.
I’ll compare him to another Bills LB. Nigel Bradham. Also flew around playing faster than his mind could handle. He learned to control it and become a solid NFL linebacker.
Gabe Davis is so inconsistent with his hands.
Maybe he can build off of his finish to this game where he made some plays but like I said he’s inconsistent.
Harty can run some routes. I would love to see him and Davis splitting time.
Defense was terrible but made a couple big plays. Jordan Poyer is done. He was terrible.
Offense didn’t give them any support. If AJ doesn’t play one of his best games that’s an ugly blowout.
