Yes. They released a statement saying the referee that threw the flag had money on the Bills but the other referees had money on the Patriots.
Understandable.
Josh misses a lot of easy reads. He’s an amazing talent which saves him. He’s not a rhythm passer. Not saying that’s a bad thing, Mahomes isn’t always a rhythm passer either.
I doubt they trade him. Young needs him for development.
The guy to get is Hopkins at WR. But it’s hard to imagine Beane sending a pick to get Hopkins when he could’ve just signed him for nothing.
I get the excuse but this is 3rd and goal. There’s 1 route possible to the left and the safety was sitting in the spot right from the snap. Backside they had a rub set for Knox. It was open. This is not a difficult read. This was a rookie play by the QB where he was 1 read and bail. Not good at all.
They aren’t. Josh makes plays out of the pocket still. He’s just not running. And I don’t think it’s all the coaches. People seem to forget Diggs telling Allen to play smarter when he took off vs the Jets and took hits.
Allen is trying to preserve his body. Plus he’s been banged up this season.
People need to stop blaming the coaches for everything. We have banged up QB and the answer for some fans in week 7 is to get him more hits.
We’ll see if Allen runs when the season is on the line later in the year.
It’s hard for some people to understand that great QBs don’t always play great. Great QBs have bad plays, bad drives, and even bad games.
When great QBs play bad we always blame others. It’s just how it goes.
You aren’t defined by the downs of an NFL season, you’re defined by how you respond to the downs of an NFL season.
The season is a grind. Especially today with parity. There’s not a lot separating each team.
