I dont think he will be. He won’t be traded until after the draft unless there’s something I’m missing cap wise. Bills save a lot trading him after June 1st. Exactly. Diggs is a hard worker and great teammate but I think he genuinely sees something wrong in Buffalo. I don’t think he’ll ever tell us what it is. Maybe a new head coach fixes his issues.

Funny you mention Bradham. I compared him to Bradham a while ago. A little wild like Bradham at the start but Bradham learned to control it.

The rise is always fun. If you don’t win a championship during the rise it gets difficult for everyone.

I was more than fine with his INTs. It’s always been the fumbles that are inexcusable. Also the turnovers didnt kill us when we hardly punted. A punt is a controlled turnover. We’re still not punting much.

Anything before Josh doesn’t count. So I don’t even count Dennison. No one wanted to be OC of that offense. Frazier didn’t get fired.

I think it truly matters how the season ends. There is a real possibility McDermott finishes the season 2-7. It’ll get interesting if that happens.

Firing a coordinator midseason is like the opposite of saving yourself. It hardly ever ends well.

I was just thinking about how Dorsey was a big 12 personnel guy. We’ve signed an average TE to $13 million a year and drafted another 1st round TE during the Dorsey tenure. I don’t see any Brandon Beane threads anywhere.

I want to say this about McDermott. We assume he wants a boring offense BUT he hired Daboll and Daboll installed an offense with zero run game. Sometimes the run was an afterthought. McDermott says things to the media but I’m not sure he really wants to be a run first ground and pound offense.

Someone once said the NFL is the greatest reality TV show. Voting players and coaches off would be a money maker. But they go into waivers and can be claimed by other teams. $$$

I wonder if a lot of successful coaches also have these losses. Watching the Ravens blow another double digit lead under Harbaugh it made me think of McDermott.

No one knows. He’s not very experienced. He had the year as passing coordinator at LSU and then sucked in the NFL for 2 years. If I were to guess expect a lot of deeper routes.

Imagine how exciting it would be if fans voted off one coach or player every week?

Doug Pederson went 4-11-1 when fired. also the franchise QB was no longer the starter. They were starting new. Bills fans don’t seem to understand that McDermott will have to either have a losing season, miss the playoffs, or not advance in the playoffs before getting fired. I dont see McDermott having a winning record this year. So it’s possible this offseason is when they move on.

Pegula signed off on it. I wonder if McDermott ever wanted Dorsey. I remember some were nervous when they didn’t immediately hire Dorsey. Fans and media were afraid they’d mess up and let Dorsey go somewhere else.
