Forget the dead cap. It’s pointless. Diggs is 31. We can replace Diggs with a much younger WR and backload the contract. You can realistically release Diggs and sign Tee Higgins and have it cost the same as keeping Diggs. The problem is Diggs age. If he were 27 we could just extend him or restructure. They could push this off a year and keep Diggs but it really depends on Diggs attitude this offseason.

Poyer, Hyde, and White. Gone. Morse is a tough one. Diggs really depends on Diggs. If he decides to act like last offseason then move on. Gabe Davis is probably gone depending on his market. There will be some significant changes. Probably much younger at these positions.

If the Bills move on from Diggs they can realistically sign a top WR in the offseason and back load the contract to have small cap hits early. Tee Higgins anyone?

At this point Diggs is Hopkins last year. No one is trading for his contract. This one could get interesting. Cut?

I would’ve just went for it instead of a fake punt. They haven’t been stopping kC all game so really didn’t make sense punting at that point. Plus Martin really couldn’t punt.

The management, coaches, and players we have are close as you can get to championship quality without winning one. We’re missing 1-2 impact players to go with Allen that step up in the playoffs. I was so disappointed when Bernard went down because I was hoping he would be one of those players. Von was brought in to be one but blows out his knee. KC has Kelce and Chris Jones that step up for Mahomes every playoffs. Who does Allen have? That’s what we’re missing.

Think about it. You want a coach that’s going to beat Mahomes in the playoffs. We’re only losing to ELITE QBs in the playoffs. I know that it’s not good enough but trying to find a coach that beats elite QBs in the playoffs is difficult. We’re right there with the Chiefs IMO we just have lacked what it takes to put them away. We can put 13 seconds on McDermott sure, but there’s a lot more to it. I don’t think new coaching gets us closer to beating KC than we are right now.

Hinder? People need to focus. Why do people think hitting the easy button and firing the head coach will magically help us beat a dynasty team like KC? It’s about the players. They come up short in the big moments vs KC. Not Allen, he steps up. It’s the other guys. They have to find someone other than Allen that steps up in the playoffs consistently.

I wish it were that easy. Once again it’s the players failing to make the plays. Bills need a little mini rebuild at the top of the roster. These players aren’t good enough to beat KC. Poyer, Hyde, and Diggs haven’t showed up in these big playoff games. Time to move on with younger more athletic versions. White cant stay on the field. We need his cap space. It’s time.

DL and the whole defense failed to step up again vs KC in the playoffs. The Hardman fumble saved this from being a blowout honestly. It was way to easy for KC.

I have no belief Gabe Davis would’ve caught anything Sherfield couldn’t. Davis has dropped those passes also.

He’s got to make that kick. Simple as that. But I’ll never blame a kicker in that situation. Only if it’s a last second kick to win or tie the game. In this scenario we only kicked because the offense failed. KC still had nearly 2 minutes to win the game after the kick. This was a failure of the offense. But Bass has to make that kick, can’t excuse it.

Brady has a great commitment to the run game but there was no designed play action off of it. He had KC on their heels defensively to the point they were run blitzing. If Brady would’ve called some action off the run looks we could’ve had some open chunk plays. It drove me crazy that he never set up anything the whole game. I was waiting for it but he just kept running it!

Trade Diggs and rebuild the WRs with young athletic freaks. Allen doesn’t need Diggs anymore. Diggs was a great addition but it’s time to move on. We have good underneath options in Kincaid and Shakir. We need a couple explosive WRs to pair with them.

Hoping McDermott has something up his sleeve in the 2nd half coverage wise.
