This is definitely a great point.

Brady simplified the offense, not opened it up. Made it more basic. It was affective.

We finally have complementary football.
-
We ran the ball down teams throats. Literally something fans and local media feared our offense doing. All I heard during Daboll’s and Dorsey’s time as OC was McDermott wants to run the football more than pass it. Well that is the Joe Brady offense so far. It definitely worked. The passing game was more horizontal and short. If this is what fans want then it’s a surprise to me. It’s the exact opposite of what they’ve been saying.

Diggs cryptic comments - 2024 edition
Buffalo_Stampede replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have a question. I’m not a cap expert. If the Bills trade Diggs isn’t the actual cash paid to Diggs a lot less for the team trading for him? Meaning the team trading for Diggs would get him at a much cheaper cost than what the Bills pay/paid for his services? This would make him a very attractive trade target. Maybe I’m totally incorrect. -
Bills have slumped before and turned it around. In fact I predicted it. Obviously I didn’t predict Dorsey would be fired but I thought they’d get out of the funk and that Josh would run again when it’s crunch time. They obviously called the game differently. Brady called the game like we had zero WR talent and couldn’t run an NFL passing offense. Dorsey called it like we had an elite all pro QB and elite passing weapons. I prefer Dorsey’s approach. We’ll see what happens.

Well it was a joke. This makes it an even better joke. At least to me. My takes are better than yours. See I’m learning. Thank you. Wait, should there be a comma between see and I’m?

I rather talk football than worry about grammar.

Brandon Beane and the Bills? -
That was a Daboll thing that continued with Dorsey. I think they wanted to give Josh the option to hand it to the RB or keep it and run or pass. That changed this year.

One thing to add with Von and dead cap is yes there’s a ton of dead cap but Leonard Floyd can be signed with the cap savings. So that’s what you have to think about. Floyd was signed after June 1st last year. There will also be starting safeties available after June 1st this year. Dont fear the dead cap. Dead cap is what it is. -

I don’t think they’ve neglected Josh at all. They thought they had a premier WR2 and it never happened. The OL took time but has finally become a force. Yes they should’ve brought in competition for Davis, not sure if that’s what you mean by neglected. This is really the first offseason people are questioning Diggs. And it’s the first offseason they won’t have Gabe Davis. Im ready to move on completely with a young WR core lead by Kincaid next year. Not many are ready to just pull that bandaid off but I think we can rebuild this year, especially knowing it’s one of the best and deepest WR drafts in history. Rookie WRs are impacting offenses more than ever. You can definitely still miss but that’s a risk I’m willing to take this year. -
At least Hailee gets a ring.

How do you explain Diggs invisibility act
Buffalo_Stampede replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think we need his experience. I’m ready to move forward with a young cheaper WR core. Maybe a young veteran like Curtis Samuel added. I don’t think Josh needs Diggs anymore. Kincaid Samuel Shakir Rookie 1st rounder Rookie 2nd/3rd rounder Knox Cook Shorter -

How do you explain Diggs invisibility act
Buffalo_Stampede replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
Everything is a killer. Keeping him at $27 million is a killer, restructuring him is a killer, releasing/trading him is a killer. Which means all 3 are options. Keeping Diggs at his current deal is the best option for the Bills. We’ll just have to wait and see how things progress. -
Do you wonder if the league is fixed?
Buffalo_Stampede replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
Man, a lot of people make a lot of money off of people that think everything is a conspiracy or rigged. Now that’s large scale scamming. -

They don’t need to rig anything. It’s the perfect machine. NFL is just a great sport for gambling. I’ll give you the rogue ref or player but not on a large scale. A lot of money going every single way you can think. It’s impossible to rig on a large scale. -

So Terry Pegula is now rigging the game? -

Who’s benefiting? No one ever answers that question. -
Josh needs some Milk WRs. Don’t complain, no divas.
