Josh walks on water with some 😅
Can’t even give credit to someone else. It’s crazy. There is this belief that Josh has done all these amazing things without any help at all.
Josh definitely helps the OL, but as Dawkins will tell you sometimes it’s harder because you never know where he’s going to be.

At the end of the day, Josh Allen is the most EXCITING QB in the league. Mahomes makes better decisions with the ball and is the superior QB. Only the delulu’s in Buffalo think JA is the better QB. He’s great, but Mahomes has been flat out better.
It’s the small things. I’m sure we can argue all day about the go ahead TD attempt to Shakir on 2nd down instead of an easy throw to Diggs to run the clock and get the 1st.
If I’m Josh in that moment I definitely don’t want Mahomes and Reid to have any time left. But that’s not how Josh thinks.

Lol what? Allen has started more consecutive games than any other player in the NFL and it isn't close.
Who is his competition by this weird injury standard you've created? Burrow? Jackson? Yeah good luck with that one.
I remember always saying that I dont worry about Allen getting hurt while running with the ball. I worry about him getting hurt in the pocket. I still do.

Mahomes 15-3 in the postseason with 41 TD passes and 8 INT's
Allen is 5-5 with 21TD passes and 4 INT's.
If you add in rushing, you can argue Allen is better or same in both regular season and playoffs, there really is not a lot of difference in either. We could break down stats but they are both outstanding in the postseason. 15-3 vs 5-5 easily breaks the tie, 0-3 vs Allen vs Mahomes drives it home. All things considered you want the guy who is 0-3 vs the other guy who has been to what 5 straight AFC championship games, 4 SB's vs the guy who went to one championship game and lost to the other. What exactly are you considering?
I’ve said Allen is Mahomes’ equal in the playoffs. I give the edge to Mahomes because of 2020 head to head.
They both average about the same total yards and TDs.

thats very backwards
mahomes is the better regular season qb, allen is the better playoff qb
so all things considered give me allen
No Allen isn’t better in the postseason.

Give Ryan and Stefanski the 4 years it took McDermott.
They’ll both have similar issues as McDermott. Stefanski had a shot at KC with Chad Henne closing out the game.

I honestly think it's impossible to know. The number of times I've seen Mahomes flip the ball to a wide open receiver or tight end for a TD is crazy. Just look at the TD to Kelce in the playoffs where Poyer blew the coverage. Literally the greatest TE of all time wide open in the end zone. He could have stopped running and walked in backwards.
Now maybe Mahomes is great because he has the elite awareness to know when these guys will be open and Allen wouldn't have that same ability. But I think a lot of it is how great Reid is.Kelce runs whatever he wants. Mahomes and Kelce just do their own thing. Not talked about enough when discussing how great Reid is. I’ve long called Reid the best coach in football, even before Mahomes, but Kelce gets open because of Kelce.

Just thought of something to be critical of McDermott about in the regular season.
Zero 1 seeds! They’ve had an easy division, definitely should’ve had a 1 seed. Allen and the players have a lot to do with it also.

I think Mahomes has better situational awareness. Josh is still learning to play under control situational football. If it’s 1st and 10, we take what the D gives us.
Thats hard for Allen. In the playoffs he does a better job of it. If he can do it consistently in the regular season we’d probably have a couple 1 seeds.

Mcd is a good regular season coach the playoffs he's average at best !
Exactly what is said about every coach until they win it.

Bobby Babich will remain as DC next year after they hire the new Head Coach?

I think there’s a real chance Cee Dee Lamb and Dallas don’t get a contract done. Something to watch.

I just can't forgive "13 seconds"
I can’t forgive the last defensive play before 13 seconds. But that was on the players so we forgot.

But the core of that time was still drafted in that era. They had Brady playing at an elite level pretty much throughout. That period of drafting was really solid. Definitely top 10 in the league. It was post Pioli. Who knows what happened after, and the last 10 years their drafting was shambolic. And it showed on the field.
The 2018 NE Super Bowl roster was terrible.

Id be stunned if Miller leads the team on sacks. Honestly stunned. I still don't think it completely put of the question that he realises he can't go in camp and retires before the season. That is how little faith I have in his remaining ability to play.
Not me because our leader in sacks might be 6 sacks. But we’ll have like 6 guys with 5-6 sacks.

What if Sean McDermott is a double agent working for Andy Reid the whole time?

Our next coach should have to return all money earned for the year if he doesn’t make the Super Bowl.
Its a fair deal, he has Josh Allen.

I'd say they have accomplished just as much as McD without the epic failures with less talent in a shorter timeframe.
Thats just crazy talk.

Should they fire McDermott right now?

It doesn't really matter. Whatever difference exists between Mahomes and Allen is not the reason they have 4 Super Bowl appearances and we have 0. The rest of the discussion is just trying to figure out what the difference is. If you think QB is the main reason, we are so far apart in the discussion you might as well be talking about the CFL. That's why these discussions aren't productive. Everybody is having a completely different conversation.
The excuses for next year are already written. It was a planned step back year and McDermott isn't to blame for the roster deficiencies. I'm hopeful that after Allen's age 30 season we'll finally have 95% of the fanbase on board and Pegula won't be able to avoid the inevitable.
I think we’re probably at a point where a missed playoffs or a wildcard loss would get McDermott fired, possibly Brandon Beane as well.

This is the argument for keeping McDermott stated succinctly.
Because we’re right there with them.
Im guessing the logic is any coach can get as far as McDermott has with Allen so try something else.
Should the Bills trust that Tyler Bass will return to form?

Yes. Get him right. Almost every kicker goes through a rough period.
