  1. I wonder if he could’ve played outside in our scheme. Looks a lot like Diggs.
  2. They save about the same amount cutting him as they would with a restructure. So I guess it’s not imminent like I thought.
  3. Yeah, but I think it’s worth it. Josh Allen probably has 5 more prime years. Spend as much as you can and kick the can down the road as long as you can. The Bills have to realize they have to do this because they missed that rookie QB contract window. Now they have to kick the can down the road. They have to!!
  4. Owners have to be willing to pay huge cash payments.
  5. The Milano and White injuries came at times they were becoming the best player at their position. We talk about not having impact players on defense, that’s part of the reason.
  6. They had rings. It definitely was a topic throughout the 90s I remember. I think after his career was over they celebrated what he accomplished. But again, he missed the playoffs 4/5 years between 25-30 years old. People have to stop acting like Josh’s career is a failure so far.
  7. RG1? I think Torrence is still the weakest link on the OL. He shows he can dominate at times but is very inconsistent. Not sure I’m willing to meet his price tag.
  8. Dan Marino in his prime years 25-28 missed the playoffs. Missed the playoffs 4/5 years between 25-30 years old. That was with Don Shula!! I don’t think fans understand how crazy it is to want to fire McDermott for losing to the best teams and QBs in the league. It’s just ridiculous. He’s winning divisions and playoff games every season. The crazy thing is he’ll probably have real heat on him when he does have a 1 bad season.
  9. I’m not sure why people don’t talk about the job Beane/Mcdermott and company have done building the OL for Allen. From Kromer to the players. They have built so much stability on the OL. Next year this unit will be the obvious strength of the team. They should bully defenses. All we talk about is WR failures. The offense is the best it’s ever been with Josh because of this OL. It should be even better next year.
  10. Problem is if you have to pay for a RB1 top dollar and also have to invest in a 3rd down RB then you’re really putting way too much into the position.
  11. He can’t block? The drops weren’t a huge issue this year that I remember. But you’re not paying top RB money unless he plays all 3 downs or your Derrick Henry. Right now he’s neither.
  12. Cook is the most explosive player on our offense. I would like to see the Bills use him as a 3 down RB moving forward. We don’t have any high priced WRs. We have a part time TE with cap hits in the $15 million range, but he’s off the books soon. Our OL is locked up. I think a 3 year deal is doable. Probably closer to $12-$13 million with incentives to make more. 3 years around $40 million.
  13. The Bills have 2 position coaches that were promoted to interim HC, Kromer and Tabor. Says a lot about these coaches. Hopefully they remain in buffalo a long time. Good teams tend to keep their OL coach and special teams coach for a long time. Pay them well and make them happy.
  14. He’s one of the top special teams coaches in the league. I don’t know any of them though. Didn’t know who he was 30 minutes ago.
  15. I thought he regressed. Early in his career I felt he was on his way to being a stud. Depends on cost. I’m all for it.
  16. Terry Pegula is opening the wallet to upgrade the coaching staff. Bills mean business this offseason.
  17. You didn’t have to insult me. But anyways I was basing it off of what others charted. I said I didn’t watch the Super Bowl. BUT, you kind of called me out. So I quickly went through the game up until 34-0. Chiefs final play was the 4th and 5. Didn’t think watching further was necessary. I personally charted 2 plays where the Eagles challenged the WRs at the line of scrimmage. Everything else was off coverage 5-7 yards. The 4th and 5 play they were off 7 yards. Imagine Bills fans watching McDermott call for the coverage to be off 7 yards on 4th and 5. Cooper DeJean was typically a little tighter, but Taron Johnson is typically tighter than our perimeter CB’s as well. They play similar roles. I’m not sure what game you watched. Here’s the 4th and 5. We’d be screaming pre snap to tighten up.
  18. Obviously they should hire Vic Fangio. He’s like 1-8 vs Mahomes but the 1 is all that matters.
  19. I think what we saw was really both working perfectly together. Coverage took away options quickly and the rush got home. Every time I watch back a Bills v Chiefs playoff game there are so many times the Bills could’ve stopped a drive and really took over the game but Mahomes scrambles or breaks contained and makes a play.
  20. Amari isn’t a fit. We have to add players that fit what Joe Brady wants to do. We need YAC players or straight speed. I didn’t want Deebo last year but I didn’t know exactly what to expect from Joe Brady. Deebo is a fit. SF has to take on most of his cap. There should be very little risk coming the Bills way if they trade for him. Only way I do it.
  21. I read 41% of the time. Eagles played 95% zone. The guy charted every snap.
  22. Deebo plays majority of snaps outside.
  23. Deebo fits what we want to do on offense. SF would have to eat most of the cap for me to be interested. Deebo would have to eat less as well.
