  3. This guy better be the second coming of Bill Belichick.... thats the only way he will survive in this town. He certainly isn't starting out with much excitement or support. I dont know what I am more upset about..the fact that they actually hired Jauron or that I am this negative about this team. i never thought I could feel this way about my team... Im just sick!
  4. I am so sick of being disappointed by this organization. I have spent my whole life trying to look at the positive of every decision and situation this team has found itself in. But I can no longer sit and be positive when the organization continues to just kick us in the nuts.... I have spent the better part of a week looking on this board, just hoping that the team would give the fans something to be excited about. Something we can all grasp and give us some hope that things are moving in the right direction, and just when you think things are gonna work out just fine.... WACK the team hires Dick Jauron as HC and I once again feel like I was just kicked in the nuts.... Anyways, I am done venting.

  6. I would love to go if anyone has tickets. I have a 3 year old and would love to take him to his first game.
  7. Donohoe and Modrak have never looked at the draft as a one year at a time event. They have always made their selections with the future also in mind, rather then the immediate. Perfect example is trading this years #1 last year for JP because they knew this years class was going to be weaker. Now this year we take a playmaker rather than taking an o-lineman. Look at it objectively.... We take a higher rated player that can make an impact on ST and as a playmaking #3 Wr, which we havent had in years. We pass on taking a lineman based on need rather then where their value lies. The Bills brass I am sure is looking next year at the O-line crop and know that is a MUCH stronger group. There are as many as 10 O-lineman that are rated as 1st round talents going into the 06 draft. D'Brickshaw Ferguson from Virginia, Winston from Miami and McNeill from Auburn highlight the group. We can take some value lineman here on day 2, like Jason Brown of NC. Elton Brown of Virginia or Mike Munoz of Tenn to help us with depth this year and get our impact player next year with better value. I like what we are doing with this team. Surround JP with as many playmakers as possible. Everett provides us with some expolsion at the TE position, something we havent had since Mckeller. A great safety valve for Losman, especially if we arent' sure about what happens with Euhus or Campbell. Sorry for the long post, but I think it helps put everything into perspective if you look at the selections objectively with the big picture in mind.
  8. The thing I don't understand is your making your judgements based on how Mel Kiper had Parrish rated. But if I remember correctly, Kiper had Parrish as the 28th best player in the draft in his top 100 and gave him a rating of 9.1 So if you go by your criteria we got great value and a steal at pick #55.
  9. Greg, with all do respect... As someone who has known Joe his whole life. Go screw yourself! I have very mixed emotions. I am very sad to see Joe's boxing career end this way but I am glad that he has a long healthy life he can continue to lead. Saying he is now going to end up on the Wegmans checkout line is completely uncalled for. Lets see you say something like that with him standing infront of you.
  10. DeMulling was in Detroit yesterday and looks like he is now a target of Baltimore. The Ravens have been very active so if TD wants DeMulling he may have to move quickly. Id much rather have DeMulling than Pork Chop Womack.. Here's the link. Ravens courting DeMulling
  11. Per John Clayton and posted on .... www.profootballtalk.com Could this have any impact on the Cards need to move Shelton and create some cap space??
  12. Saw this and thought it was very interesting.. scroll down to the very bottom of the page. So the Jets may be after BOTH Williams and Jennings. How much would that suck!!! http://www.eastcoastsportsnews.com/2005PreDraft.html
  13. What is the relevance of this post??? Did JK actually make these comments or was that a purely hypothetical situation???? If you want to make this kind of post a topic of discussion please clarify whether this was fact or just something you were making up. If this is an actual quote please give a link to your source.
  14. I played against Greg Mamula when he went to Lackawanna High School. I was the Quarterback for my team and he was a monster even in High School. He drilled me a couple of times that day. Too bad he didn't have as good of a pro career with Philly. Kinda cool having played against someone that went to the pros.
  15. One more reason I love living in Buffalo!!! I dont have to deal with critters like that! Nothing around here that will kill you. Ill take the snow thank you very much!
  16. See if you can find the JVC new 52 or 61 inch D-ILA Hi Definiition TV. I just bought one. Its incredible. You dont have the screen door effect and pixel problems like LCD. You dont have the rainbow effect like DLP (ie Samsung) The picture is amazing and its also brighter than both. You can pick up the 52" for around $3200. My local store has the 61" at $3999. Cant wait for opening weekend on this bad boy!
  17. Being able to get a look at that would definitely brighten up a lousy day!
