  1. well the "Golden Rule" is a Bible Teaching. Do you think that is something that shouldn't be taught in school? "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." Matthew 7:12 "And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise." Luke 6:31
  2. this is the problem with Conservatives. There isn't enough kicking and screaming coming out of them (us). Conservatives (we) are too thin skinned. We want to make a stand on principle and when the left libs throw their sticks and stones and names like school girls we crumble. if Conservatives had half the tenacity of liberals the Bible and Prayer would still be in schools.
  3. I posted this last week so I am sorry for the re-peat....(seems to be the requirement on TSW these days) The move was made because Ralph was tired of watching a team underachieve. which is why Mularkey was so short tempered with the press last week. He thought he was the man in charge. he thought when he said Losman was going to be the starter that meant no one else in the orgainzation could trump his decision. He found out what Lou Saban, Chuck Knox, and Wade Phillips all found out at one point or another in their careers. Ralph Wilson is the boss. And what the boss wants. The boss gets.
  4. 1. I strongly believe that it is a mistake to bench Losman,....however I also believe that had Losman been the starter of this game the Bills would have lost. 2. Either Chirs Villarial or Trey Teague will definately be gone next year. The "Duke of Preston" has played well, and I don't think he was penalized once yesterday. 3. I like the game the Bills defensive backfield played yesterday, but folks do need to remember they were playing against Gus Freotte. The same guy that headbutted the endzone wall while with the Redskins. 4. Thurman needs to lay off the cheeseburgers. 5. This was a very important win for the Bills. Had the Dolphins scored on that final drive, it would have been a demoralizing loss that I don't think they would have recovered from.
  5. i agree with this 100%. i would add that they should be dealt the sternest punishment available expidtiously. nooooooooooooo dilly-dallying!
  6. i'll take you with me Mick!
  7. i haven't read the thread....so this may have already been mentioned... but this wreaks of Ralph Wilson.
  8. "THE GIRL THAT I WOULD MARRY NEED NOT BE YOUNG AND FAIR SHE SHOULD BE A NYMPHOMANIAC AND BE A MILLIONAIRE!"
  9. dear God! I will be the first in line looking for a short rope and a tall tree.
  10. it is all about hitting open receivers...and the receivers are still getting open. open receivers against the Texans aren't any different than open receivers against other teams.
  11. Yeah I know....the difference is he sucked in games 2-4. My question..is there something preventing him from playing as well as he did in game one. I don't see that the Bucs, Falcons, and certainly not the Saints Defense are that superior that he should be struggling so much. Or is it a situation where he caught lightening in the bottle for the first half against the Texans and after that he used his three wishes....and has none left?
  12. the play fake was sweet....and Moulds was open....it was however like all the other throws.....horrible.
  13. i forgot to make my picks this past week.
  14. Giuliani considers 2008 run. He clearly states he is just getting his "feelers" out.....my question is would he be a compatible VP candidate to McCain?
  15. 1. I don't get why Willis McGahee didn't have 40+ carries. 2. On the play when Losman threw his interception....it was one of the sweetest looking play action fakes I have seen in a long time. 3. No single player on defense seemed to want to make a BIG play. 4. I hate to say it....but I was happy for the Saints to finally get what seemed to be a "homefield" advantage. 5. Looks like Mularky took a page out of Bum Phillips book and doesn't wear a hat when he plays inside.
  16. I am curious. The cameras kept flipping back and forth showing Losman and Holcomb on the sidelines as the clock wound down. They showed Holcomb talking to someone. Was he an assistant coach? Anyone know who he was?
  17. how about because he has never been convicted?
  18. you used "relevant" and profootballtalk.com in the same sentance!
  19. Criqui is the single most horrible announcer on national television covering any sport.
  20. i agree with him 100%. but i also agree that aborting all white babies would eventually lower crime. fewer humans...lower crime. what's the problem?
  21. there will be a time in the near future when i think everyone here will be overwhelming fans of JP Losman. It will take time...he has to learn how to settle down...and take control. But I strongly believe he will be every bit as good as Wyche's old QB Boomer Esiasan. I really think this when I see how good he is already... right now...at the play action fake. A lot of QB's that have been in the league for several years do not have his ability...however there is a lot of fine tuning that needs to be done. My only real question is; does JP have the ability to "LEAD"? I think he has the skill....and I think we saw some of that skill in the Texans game. But I have not seen any leadership qualities yet.
  22. looking back at the draft the year that the Bills traded for Bledsoe...my gues is probably Patrick Ramsey.
  23. i still get a kick out of it when people refer to Bush as "hardine conservative".
  24. It has been posted on www.senate.gov now. Here it is If my counting is correct 22 Dems voted Yea and 22 Dems voted Nay. I intend to write to my NY State Senators and ask them why they voted the way they did.
