  1. Say Cheese! I dunno if anyone else finds a lot of humor in this. I think it is hysterical. Old Earle was probably licking his chops at seeing a defiant, frowning, dishuffled picture of DeLay complete with numbers under his name on the front page of his morning newspaper. The Liberal blogs are beside themselves. Dems Complaining
  2. the Vikings should have thrown Tice in as a freebie with Moss when they sent him to the Raiders.
  3. this just in... ...salisbury and clayton are both morons.
  4. simple....it is the liberal press that pushes a liberal agenda. a conservative press pushes a conservative agenda. saying just "the press" would be confusing.
  5. the problem with showing the execution....(a problem if you support the death penatly) is that the liberal media will show it as inhumane and awful...(yeah I know he deserves it) but they will take that footage and use it to pursuade america that the Death Penalty should be abolished. which is another fun thread all unto its own.
  6. this is something i noticed about watching JP in the first few games. when i saw him on the sidelines he always looked like an outsider.....he never looked like he was "one of the guys".
  7. This one is a "room service delivery" for you libs. If you can't get something good from this.....you aughta just quit. "....this much"
  8. how about reconstruction of the Gulf Coast too.
  9. My guess is that Saddam will be found guilty and the sentence will be death by hanging. My question is do you think any US Network Media Outlets would carry coverage of his execution live as it happens? To my knowledge networks have never carried an execution whether it is by law or by choice I don't know.
  10. KRC what do you think are Newt's weaknesses?
  11. Newt kept saying he isn't a candidate but just going around the country talking about the issues. Anyone think he will throw his hat into the 2008 ring? O'Reilly seemed to think it is inevitable. And will he be a viable candiate against Repubs like Giuliani and McCain (and God forbid) Pataki? McCain and Giuliani are Social Liberal Repubs....Newt is a little more to the right on the Social Issues. Will he be more attractive to the Conservative right? I think Newt v. Hillary would be a colossal circus.
  12. "And the Band Played On"
  13. i don't know what the coach had to say today on WGR but yesterday after the game on Rochester WHAM he was pretty animated about the play calling from Tom Clemments. He figured that if Willis had 75 (guessing) yards in the 1st half he should have finished with 200 total. So he was a little critical of the fact that they threw the bal too much in the 2nd half. Other than that he was pretty mellow.
  14. i don't think it is a joke.
  15. who are Teddy and Laura Bush?
  16. Kennedy helps Fishermen Mary Jo Kopechne was heard yelling from her grave, "Hey Ted! Thanks for helping me!"
  17. per Fantasy Football Mastermind: The San Francisco Chronicle reports although pass protection has been a problem for the 49ers, the team is not planning any changes to its offensive line. Rookie QB Alex Smith was sacked five times in the 28-3 loss to the Colts on Sunday, and the line's inability to protect QB Tim Rattay earlier this season contributed to his benching. The 49ers have given up 17 sacks, fourth most in the league. OLT Anthony Clement struggled against the Cardinals on Oct. 2 in his first start, but seemed to settle down against Colts DE Dwight Freeney. The team appears set on Clement being the replacement for OLT Jonas Jennings (shoulder), whose season is in doubt because of the torn labrum in his right shoulder. Coaches also are sticking with ORT Kwame Harris, believing the 2003 first-round choice is improving. The 49ers have rookies they could promote, including third-round draft choice OT/OG Adam Snyder, who as Oregon's left tackle last season won the Pac-10's top-lineman award. However, Snyder has played guard this season and is poised to be a starter if C Jeremy Newberry's fragile knee gives out. OLG Eric Heitmann would then move to center and Snyder would go in at guard. Meanwhile, rookie OG David Baas, a second-round pick in April, is hurrying to catch up after missing six weeks of training camp with a torn hamstring.
