i like Mike Williams as a person. During training camp i have had what i would call the priviledge to visit with him a couple of times.... but this guy is getting to the point where i have to begin thinking he just doesn't have the heart to play in the NFL. There is no way he should be kept around at the high salary he is due. So....my thought would be why derail the continued development of other guys at DT by wasting time crossing your fingers on a guy like MW....who I have a hard time believing will be around next year.

isn't Bill Polian due to be canned for running the payroll up too hight in Indy? My God..I would love to have Bill and his Green Blazer back! And I would let him hire whoever he wanted.

last night during a NY-Quil stupor I caught some of this on what i think was CNBC. i was delerious and thought the coverage looked like something from a local cable access channel so i didn't pay that much attention.

the key is to find someone who can draft talent. i think TD has been living on reputation for too long. he has sucked the life right out of this organization by drafting "average" to below average players on both sides of the line. 2001 2nd Aaron Schobel (Very Avg.) 3rd Ron Edwards (Below Avg.) 3rd Jonas Jennings (I will give him a better than avg. grade because he did well playing any position on the line....injuries aside, he played ok.) 5th Marques Sullivan (Below Avg.) 7th Tyrone Robertson (Below Avg.) 2002 1st Mike Williams (Below Avg) 2nd Ryan Denney (Below Avg) 5th Justin Bannan (Avg....considering draft pos.) 7th Mike Pucillo (Below Avg) 2003 2nd Chris Kelsay (Avg. to Below Avg) 5th Ben Sobieski (Below Avg) 6th Lauvale Sape (Below Avg) 2004 & 2005 - Jury still out but at this point, Tim Anderson and Duke Preston are the only two likely to pan out.

i like what i saw in JP both on the field and his post game comments. i wasn't in the huddle, but it just looked like he had more command of the huddle and is gaining respect of his teammates. Not to mention the he was in there throwing a nice block for McGahee on one particular play that broke down.

no...but they did draft Duke Preston and anytime he has played he has looked "ok". Not great...but they plugged him in at RG when Vilarial was out...why not plug him in at LG and let him get some playing time and develop? This team is a mess purley because the OL is horrible and Jim McNally hasn't played a snap all year.

i disagree with some of this. yeah he should clam up about being the best back in the league, but the deal is this, the OL sucks. and he is getting beat up pretty good.

he should be cut. or pull a T.O. on him. Suspend him for four games and deactivate him with pay for the final week.

typically it wouldn't be an issue ....but if Fox News ran a live speech of Hillary or Bill, or Howie Dean, or JFKerry, or Al Gore, and flashed an "X" over their faces no matter how short a period of time, there would be the typical uproar from the lefty nuts that reflect the nuts on the right.

My choices of who will make it in. Art Monk is so long overdue they should lock the voters in a room until they get it right. I hope Ralph makes it. I think he deserves it. And I will be pissed if they wait to vote him in after he is dead.

my guess is he would name it "Harriett". afterall she truly was pardoned from a death sentence.

(hand raised) it wasn't a technical glitch. no....before you all jump down my throat...i don't have a link...and i don't have proof. but to answer the question about knowledge of TV production, yes I do have that and I can be "pretty certain" it wasn't an accident.
