  1. Some might say he doesn't need fixing. I say he is destined to be a mediocre player unless he learns to play in the NFL. He has the physical tools he needs the mental tools. I would....and I know this is never going to happen....but after reading the article in The Sporting News yesterday about the league wide crisis at QB, JP Losman wouldn't be the only QB to benefit from this......I would send him to NFL Europe. This might have been mentioned before in the past, in one of the 1001 threads about Losman, and if it was I am sorry to drudge it up. I am not in anyway comparing Losman's ability to Jim Kelly, but I think Jim Kelly learned a lot of mental toughness and how to make quick, instantaneous decisions while playing in the USFL......and he didn't get killed doing it.
  2. no one that doesn't wear a headset.
  3. The thread is closed,....but there were some impressive predictions....and in hindsight...some hilarious comments posted! http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=23466&hl=
  4. I live in Rochester NY. I like it a lot but am not enthralled with it. I absolutely love all that NY State has but I hate living in NY State. If my wife wasn't so close to her family, we would be moving to the northern part of North Carolina. (or Eastern Tenn., where i could be close to Tennyboy!)
  5. MORE COWBELL! BRING IT BACK!!! Happy Birthday DN!
  6. From the website: www.urbandictionary.com "Tammied"
  7. somebody ought to email this to Mike Mularkey. enough of his "we had bad luck" crap!!!!!!!
  8. i look at it differently. although Nate mailed it in a couple of weeks ago, he is aware as anyone that Chad Johnson has his checklist in his locker....i think Nate has just enough pride to do whatever he can to keep from getting "checked off".
  9. you been hanging around BiB again???

  11. and here i was hoping this was going to be a post about some trio of trampy looking sluts!
  12. ".......and we're not telling you who our starting QB is going to be until Saturday. nah..nah..na..nah..nah!"
  13. as John McKay said, "I am in favor of it."
  14. Wolf Not Returning to NFL -- Sun Dec 18, 2005 --from FFMastermind.com The Wisconsin State Journal reports former Packers GM Ron Wolf, the architect of the Green Bay Packers' 1990s renaissance, is not making a comeback. He will not be resurrecting the Detroit Lions or any other downtrodden NFL franchises. "Let's just stop," says Wolf, who retired as the Packers' general manager in June 2001. "No one's contacted me, and I have no desire to get back into it. I feel flattered by all this, but no one from Detroit's contacted me, no one from the other 31 teams has contacted me. Nor do I anticipate they will. Somebody called me today (and said they heard) that I'm coming back to work for the Green Bay Packers. It makes no sense. You would think somebody would think that through. What am I coming back as, Santa Claus?" Forget about the rumors - that Lions owner William Clay Ford might fire GM Matt Millen and hire Wolf, for $5 million annually, to run the team.
  15. this is true for the first year. i remember Sherman White making Anthony Munoz look like Jerry Crafts during his rookie season. However....that is the kind of risk worth waiting one year for.
  16. i can't disagree more. you have just shuffled players to new positions. crappy players being moved to new positions just means you have a crappy OL with problems at different places.
  17. i would have to add a playmaking DE. Schobel is an "ok" #1 DE. He would be a great #2 DE. The Bills need a dominating DE who can make plays while being double teamed to allow Schobel to make plays while he is being played man to man. That extra preasure...along with as you say a stud DT....will make Nate Clemments and Terrance McGee look like Pro Bowl CB's.
  18. 2 more weeks? hmmmmmmm.....your post has given me hope for 2006. I think I can live with that.
  19. I like Shaud Williams. He is over used by the Bills coaching staff, but that isn't his fault. He shouldn't be a 3rd down back. In a perfect world he would be a guy that comes in and plays one or two series for Willis McGahee and in that role he would be effective......because Willis would (in a perfect world) be getting 25+ carries per game behind a pro-bowl offensive line.
  20. i was pissed off.....i mean really pissed off on Saturday night listening to Trevor Pryce "mic'd up" for ESPN.....the one time they caught him jumping off sides and he was laughing....it sounded like he was just toying with the Bills OL. Made me sick. This OL....and it's ineptness will be Tom Donahoe's mark on the Bills. DiCesare nailed it.
  21. If I were in charge Trey Teague would be gone. Not tomorrow, not today, two years ago. I watched Olin Kruetz last night and this guy is not only a great player, he is a great leader. And it got me to think back on Kent Hull. I think the Center has to be the "co-leader" of the offense along with the QB. I can't say that I recall ever seeing Teague do anything that resembled "leadership" on or off the field. As I thought further about it.....I don't have a real problem with LT, RG or RT. However the CENTER must be replaced. And if possible....they might consider moving Teague over to LG and bring in the best available Center through FA. I like Duke Preston when I have seen him at RG, but there must be a reason he hasn't taken over the Center position from Teague...so I am not sure he would be the answer.
  22. i agree with this....but i think Tim Anderson deserves some more time to develop. Pat Williams and Ted Washington were not overnight sensations. Teddy came over after being dumped by the 49ers if i recall correctly.
  23. CP's Salary Cap Link if i understand this list correctly..and that is a big "IF"..based on these numbers I see the following guys not around next year: Definate Cuts: Sam Adams Mark Campbell Ryan Neufeld (that is two TE's. both are below avg., and niether are worth their salary. Lawyer Milloy (but i have no idea who will take his place) Eric Moulds...and like many have said, he will be the best addition to someone elses roster....i really hope he stays. Jeff Posey Possible cuts: London Fletcher (i don't think he gets cut but i definately see him getting his contract reworked). Rian Lindell (another potential "reworked contract) Troy Vincent is 50/50 Mike Williams is another who should be reworked. I am personally not ready to give up on him....but no way he comes back at the price he is listed at. CP....thank you for posting this link!!!!
