  1. what i think is funny....i would bet that the folks who say they don't like him...don't turn the channel of their radio or TV when he is on ESPN,...especially if he is commenting on the Bills pick or draft position. what makes Kiper so good is he makes you want more....and whether you want to admit it or not you want to know what he thinks about your teams draft.
  2. I am not sure who will win, but I would bet all the money i have that it will come down to which teams scores the most points.
  3. Modrak is really going to be a wild card this year. i wish he had an online blog with his notes from the last two weeks on the Sr. Bowl. It might be the only way of knowing for sure that he is still alive.
  4. RIP Joel. he was Mel Kiper with a little more accuaracy. and not quite the ambition to be world famous.
  5. I think the media is neither liberal or conservative. i think the media is about making the media money. and lots of it. are there personalities in the media that push their agenda periodically? of course....Katie Couric...Sean Hannity are just a couple. but they are more about stirring controversy and creating an emotional response than anything else.
  6. with a name like "Ramsdell" he is probably staying in St. Louis. ...or a marketing position at HP.
  7. why? because since you changed jobs you no longer have the freedom to post 1000 threads of nonsense every single day?
  8. cool site...i will look at it in more detail later.
  9. there in lies the problem. this is an extreme example, if person "A" (or political party "A) is a homosexual with no desire to switch to straight but is being told he MUST go straight because that is what person (or party) "B" told him he must do.....or reverse it... Party "A" is straight and Party "B" is saying you must be homosexual.... People in this nation are THAT extremely divided. And the first wiff of anything that sounds like one party is getting the upper hand is when all the negativity begins....and i hate to say it, but rightfully so. as a conservative if i owned a store and someone told me i must sell "the morning after pill". i would become very negative toward that party. it will be very hard to find any middle ground because again, all you need to do is get a whiff of some scheme being hatched and it turns into a back alley brawl.
  10. i have thought about Culpepper.....and yes...I would make a deal for him, but i wouldn't give up Moulds. I don't think the Vikings would want JPL but I would float JPL and a 4th rounder for him, and be willing to send a 3rd. Why? Well...he is big and strong enough to take the punishment that the Bills current OL is going to unleash indirectly. I also think he has a gun and I think....as the Bills build an OL, defenses would have a heck of a time defending, Evans, Moulds, Parrish and the threat of McGahee...(if he is half the RB he says he is.) The D? Well...yes...it might have to suffer for one more year, but when your offense puts up 31+ points a game you can stand to give up a couple of TD's each week.
  11. stuckincincy is the King of all Avatars! (at least the king of Avatar Rotation.)
  12. Wal-Mart Sued I am curious...does anyone know what the term, "state regulation" means? Is that "law" or something like the group in California that allows public schools to "regulate" military recruitment?
  13. something about adding the word "steaming" to the words "pile of dung"......in describing Theeesman made your post very special.
  14. i have heard stories of how when he first started publishing his scouting report the phone number to order was his home number. and this was after he had started doing segments with ESPN.....i have heard if you called to order he would not hesitate to chat with you for several minutes just shooting the bull about the upcoming draft.
  15. i like Mel Kiper a lot. i don't always agree with him, but this is a guy that has great enthusiasm. he found a niche in life making a living on something he absolutely loves. With Berman, Thiesman and the other morons at ESPN, Mel Kiper is the only one that makes the NFL Draft watchable. sure he has some criticisms of certain players and doesn't hype EVERY player just to stroke their ego...like this guy Michael Robinson. i have no idea what Mel had to say about him but whatever it was....he probably was just repeating what he had heard mutiple other Pro Scouts already say about him.
  16. i thought this was the place to post everyone and anyone that we have ever heard of that we expect might be availabe.
  17. for years he was the best they had....but now it appears he might be on the downside. i don't watch the Giants enough to know how he looks or what he would be worth if cut.
  18. ugh...are you kidding me. i won't be able to watch ESPN for a week because that is all they will puking about.
  19. yep...that was sort of why i brought it up.
  20. oh i see where you are going. a lot of former head coaches do sign their former players to their new team. i will be interested to see if Mularkey has any interest in any Bills offensive players. my guess is no. but if he were to go after anyone, i could see him trying to get Holcomb.
  21. Personally I think it would be taking a long term step backward for a short term step forward. But if there is anyone that hasn't thrown Jim McNally under a bus, he might be able to work with Luke to show the rest of the stooges on the OL how to block. From Pro Football Weekly "Whispers section on 1/23/2006:
  22. i would trade holcomb to the fish for a 7th round pick,...so yeah...a 3rd rounder is a no brainer.
  23. with the year Steve Smith had, he can say whatever he wants about opposing DB's.
  24. i saw the movie in the theatre and i honestly don't remember a movie that stands out in my mind as being better acted since.
