  1. Lions likely to tag LT
  2. i thought about that here in Rochester and i can only hope we would get ESPN radip as a replacment.....who is on from 12-3 on ESPN? Heard? Patrick?
  3. as a non satellite subscriber,.....I hope to god he goes satellite!
  4. i read the Jets expect to release the Center (Kevin Mawae) too. Which probably means they will go after Ferguson.
  5. since Tony was one of only three people to know Jack was involved, he will reveal on his his death bed.....that he had information that lead to his knowledge of Heller being involved....and Jack will hook those electric doo-dads to Audrey's nipples....to get her to spill all the info on her father.....and bingo....a Ratings Revival!
  6. the question is....can she get us "in" with the lesbian Carolina Panther cheerleaders? don't they all kind of hang out in the same "lesbian NFL cheerleader sorority?" ....or something?
  7. it reminds me (sort of) of the Tom Donahoe/Mike Mularkey pairing in the Bills front office. A marketing disaster. "we are doing it our way, and we don't have to tell you anything.....now stfu!....you suck". Or something to that effect. Turning your supporters against you is a bad idea.
  8. i don't feel a desire to keep any of them, but i do think Sam Adams based on team need is the one most necessary to keep. i like Eric Moulds a lot. he has played great for some bad Bills teams, but someone else posted earlier this week or last that this team has "rebuild" written all over it. Sure you can restructure Moulds contract, but the longer you restructure the deal, the longer he will be hanging around. He would need to take a pay cut, not just restructure for the Bills to justify keeping him. if Moulds goes, i almost think they need to keep Reed. But if Moulds stays, then Reed is definately gone. Teague. He is a solid backup. And I would consider letting him battle for a backup job at LT. As a center however, he sucks. I don't mean he sucks based on his skill. I mean he sucks based on his lack of leadership. the center position is the second most important position of leadership on offense and he failed miserably last year while the Bills tried breaking in a baby QB. I think Williams is going to be asked to take a paycut, and then he is going to be asked to prove he wants to play in the NFL. i don't think he has the capacity or desire to do either. to answer the poll question "who not to release"....based on the team need, I say Sam Adams. They need a minimum of two solid DT's to run this Cover 2 Defense and right now, Adams is the best they have....and he is not a 3 down; 4 quarter player....so they really need to add 2 more top DT's. (one I am guessing will come in the form of the 1st round draft pick.) based on "cap space need" to improve this team in so many areas, my preference on who to release i suppose would be Mike Williams and Eric Moulds since their release would bring the most savings.
  9. Good Googly Moogly!
  10. i heard on ESPN this morning one of the single most amazing facts about Curt Gowdy. He is the only man inducted into the broadcasting wing of all three major sports Halls of Fame: NFL MLB and the NBA
  11. he might very well have been the guy that i first heard on TV calling a football game....and probably one of my all time favorites. is there anything in the obit that mentions Genesee Beer as "cause of death"?
  12. based on what i know to this point...no. i don't think it is a good idea. but i also don't know all there is to know yet. from what i do know is: 1. there was a business transaction. 2. the US still controls port security. i think.....as Peter King said, a lot of these politicians just want to go on record right out of the shoot and say that they are against it in case something bad happens. I will be interested to hear what these same politicos have to say when people of Arab decent are refused employment by the companies that provide security.
  13. Arab control of Seaports I don't have a handle on this story yet but i think it is funny that when the President brings up 9/11 the Libs call it a scare tactic. This morning i watched Barbara Boxer and others say, "in our post 9/11 society, we cannot allow our ports to be left unprotected". Well which is it? Does that sound like a scare tactic?
  14. we have a winner.
  15. i don't buy any of this nonsense about a team as an organization not being able to attract good players. when Reggie White went from Philly to Green Bay, the Packers were a perenial loser playing in cold climate. yeah...i know....Reggie said the Lord told him to sign with the Packers so it doesn't count.....but I am sure there are plenty of other examples very similar.
  16. The Bills, Browns, Jaguars.....the price continues to get pushed up.
  17. R. Rich. Happy Birthday! I hope you have one super blessed day!
  18. ask them to return all black leather hoods before leaving.
  19. i didn't hear the interview but based on the recap above, i like what he said. he did play the good soldier. he not only didn't hold out, i don't recall him ever even commenting on his contract last year or the year before. he just came to work and played his best. he had a horrible year last year. he got beat by a lot of guys that had no business beating him. i don't know enough about defensive schemes and play calls from game to game to know that all his miscues were entirely his fault. i don't think he will get all the jack he thinks he deserves but he does deserve to get paid, and it is just plain bad luck that the "top 5 CB" figure for a tagged CB is so low this year.
  20. sucks to be quoted verbatim.....even if it is taken out of context doesn't it?
  21. quite honestly this article was a waste of time to read. 10 questions. 3 speak directly to current personel. and revealed nothing new. Mike Williams: this underwhelming statement of support tells me Mike Williams is going to get one single off season team workout to prove he has the heart to stick around. and i don't get the impression anyone at OBD thinks he can pull it off. Duke Preston: Last year he was a rookie, and played like it. We are crossing our fingers he pans out....to save our ass. Jason Peters: Big suprise. A FA that actually produced. My guess is he will stay on the right side for at least one more season to learn the position.
  22. what the hell are you talking about? good grief.....take your conspiracy crap somplace else. don't you know we only deal with FACTS here on the PPP??????
  23. i don't subscribe...but i like picking up the offseason issues.
