  1. PFW Top 7 This looks "probable" although does not allow for any potential trade scenarios.
  2. i look forward to reading all of your future posts that support Buckleys "liberal" positions.
  3. i am not posting this to be unkind, but i am curious if anyone has statistics that show how successful these types of programs work for "delinquints"?
  4. that was funny,... "....you don't want me! you want Terry! You should be looking for Terry!"
  5. i would have ended up passing out during the "cover and simmer" stage and burned my house down.
  6. the more NFL Scout quotes i read about Vince Young the more i think he is going to be this years Aaron Rogers....falling to lmiddle or late first round....and possibly seeing Cutler go before Young.
  7. what date do teams have to be under the cap? as i understand it, the Bills could sign (for example) LeCharles Bentley next Friday and put themselves over the cap by 10 Million. at what date do they have to release other players and juggle other contracts to get under the cap?
  8. no bad pictures . March 20th: Steak and "BJ" Day!
  9. Go to www.google.com Type in "March 20th"
  10. about a month ago i would have said i want the Bills to keep him. but now i have second thoughts. if they can restructure his deal with a lower cap figure while not being forced to stretch it out over something ridiculous like 5 years...i would be ok with that. but if he has to get all of that money he has coming to him....i think it would be best to release him, and use that non-guaranteed money someplace else. (read: OL/DL/S)
  11. i think the Bills should have legally been able keep him on their roster while not paying him one penny. just in case he eventually did develop into a stellar performer.
  12. i was screaming for either one. i didn't care which one.... i look back and am disappointed that Mike Williams was a bust but if the Bills didn't take him someone else would have taken him within the top 10. apparently he looked good on tape and workouts. it is hard to measure heart with a stop watch and a weight bench.
  13. If Mike Williams goes to Dallas, first Parcells would make him cry, and then Mike would be eating a Big Tuna Sandwich.
  14. didn't see your post befor i put mine up....i agree....Butler really buried this franchise. which is a the one thing i salute Donahoe for. he came in like the big bad sheriff and had to make some very tough decisions that had to be made.
  15. My top 5 would be (in order of biggest contributor): John Butler: First and formost, he took a proud franchise and buried it. Then split. Ralph Wilson......for firing Wade Phillips. (he should have put on the damn headsets). Tom Donahoe.....for having bad drafts. Mike Williams, Trading up to get Ryan Denney, I still like McGahee, but he drafted him when they had a productive Travis Henry and desperatly needed help on the OL. For letting Pat Williams go. For signing Bennie Anderson. He made a nice deal unloading Peerless Price for a 1st round pick, and we were all very excited to get Drew Blesoe at the time, but niether of these deals in hindsight have panned out. And I haven't forgotten that he pulled the team out of "Cap Management Hell" that John Butler put the team in.....but after 6 years and no playoff appearances....it wasn't enough. Eric Moulds/Trey Teague: Why? The offense has NO veteran leadership. These two guys are the veterans on this roster. Teague has never showed leadership,...which is a MUST for the Center.... and Moulds has grumbled a bit, plus the whole benching fiasco. Achillie: His heel took Spikes out for the season, and he is a difference maker. London Fletcher played like a man possessed down the stretch but Spikes is the leader of the defense.
  16. if that happens, i would love to see Tom Donahoe the next day on the news saying, "that was a real eye blinker!"
  17. actually no....but, i was reading a list of QBs the other day, and i came across his name. i liked that the scouting reports had a lot of positives and the only negative was that he hadn't played top competition.
  18. no negotiating for a restructured deal....and no reports of Mike Williams even being in Buffalo to speak to the new management and staff.....me thinks they are positioning themselves for a big Free Agent splash.
  19. that may be the case for a season or two.....but you either have heart or you don't. this might motivate him for the short term, but in the long term? this is not something that will turn him into a Hall of Famer,....or even a Pro Bowl Alternate for that matter.
  20. such a true Liberal. ....criticizing others ideas and not offering any yourself.
  21. ATTENTION: Everyone needs to shoot an email over to Marv and let him know what you are willing to kick in to sign Bentley. Sort of like a "Sign LeCharles Telethon". If Marv gets enough sponsor commitments...LB will be a Bill.
  22. the poll did say, "...of the future". good grief. I'm not bashing the guy....but he is going to be 33 in July. That is not a guy I want to be "the future" of the franchise.
  23. Happy Birthday Mr. Cor.
  24. 2006 5th round draft pick: Erik Meyer I would then cut Shane Matthews and bring in Jay Fiedler to compete also.
  25. I hope the late round QB pick is: Erik Meyer
