  1. I don't think I would be interested in any of the "Big Name" options they have listed - including Allen if he were still available.
  2. Someone had started a thread not too long ago on the idea of looking at Dave Gettleman - and I am all over that idea. I would be thrilled if he were hired.
  3. I don't have a link - this is from sporting news daily - a daily PDF email I get from The Sporting News. I don't think this means much...and I suspect Locker will go pro..I just thought you might be interested in this comment:
  4. How many miles does Perry Fewell pace in a single game?
  5. I voted none of the above - splitting hairs here...but if this team doesn't hire a GM prior to hiring a HC - they will continue to suck the big one...and when they get done sucking - they will suck some more. And...no...I don't want a HC - that gets the GM position. Not unless it is God himself.
  6. I didn't read through the entire thread....but if Jim Kelly wants Tebow to be the QB of the future for the Bills, I don't want Jim Kelly anywhere near the Bills front office. Tebow WILL NOT be a successful NFL QB. And I LOOOOOOOVE Tim Tebow - and all he has accomplished at Florida.
  7. Thank you for posting this. I have thought that if I had the choice to pick anyone to be the GM, it would be to take a stab at pulling Accorsi out of retirment - which would be such a long shot it's not really worth discussing. I was not familiar with Gettleman, but I do like him as a candidate. I would want to know who he would want to target for a coaching staff before pulling the trigger...but yeah...if it was announced tomorrow that he was named the GM, I would not be the least bit disappointed.
  8. you could open the flood gates with that question.
  9. no...he never stopped practice and shouted: "Get it Right!"
  10. I thought we stopped calling him "chin" since he had the 40 extra teeth put into his mouth. I thought his new name was "Tooth".
  11. I think Cowher is a fool to not at least sit down and listen to what the Bills have to say. In my opinon - you should always at the very least hear what a prospective employer has to offer. If he is sitting back waiting to get the Carolina job....what's to say that the Panthers don't turn this thing around and win out and make the playoffs. If that were to happen, I don't see the Panthers firing John Fox. (Listen....I don't foresee that happening...I do expect Fox to be out at the end of the year)....but the point is..you never know...and here is an opportunity for Cowher and he isn't even giving it a looksee - because of what he "thinks" may be a bad situation in Buffalo - or a better opportunity elsewhere that hasn't actually been placed before him? Just doesn't make any sense to me.
  12. ooof. Good grief...this guy is probably the first guy the Bills have had that I am a "TRUE FAN" of since Kent Hull and Jim Ritcher. Now this. What a shame.
  13. without having to read through this entire thread and having to read anymore juvenile crap from "zazie".....and without opening a new thread..can anyone say if there is a recovery time line for this injury Eric Wood suffered? Is he expected to be 100% for mini camp? Is there any report that it could be career ending? I am not suggesting it is...I am just asking.
  14. The overwhelming sense from the fan base is that he would just about have to win out, and not just win - but show that they can handle teams - and not just back into or "trip" into a win. At no fault of his...I just can't see either one of those things happening. At BEST - I see the Bills winning 4 more games, and that is a bit of an exaggerated stretch.
  15. jw - i have been around a while...(but have not posted much recently) I was not familiar with who you are until today....and within a few brief posts can see that you have more credibility than most...so - yeah...you just go ahead and keep posting as you have and don't let the post of a single other person prevent you from providing the rest of us good information and and good teases as well...that is what keeps me coming back.
  16. Can someone fill me in a little on this bold part?
  17. I think Brandon has his finger on the pulse of the the Bills Fan Nation and he knows that any thing less than a Big Name Coach - is going to mean a collapse of season ticket sales. He isn't a football mind but he is a good business and marketing mind....I am confident the choice they make to bring in to coach this team will be one 80-90% of the fans will be behind.
  18. Oh geez...ok...now I need to wipe up the mess.
  19. I'm not falling for it. I KNOW IT'S A TRICK! But even though I know I am going to be pissed............it moved.
  20. I agree with this - and the same is true with a Coach and a GM. Coahes that were great once, are only as great as the players he has, and past successes don't guarantee future success. With a GM - well....we all know how that story line can develop...I don't think there was a single person disappointed when Ralph brought Tom Donahoe in. I don't if there was anyone that didn't think he was the messiah for the franchise. It's all a crap shoot - unless you have good players.
