  1. The Left Coast Report I don't know this might be better served to be posted as an "OTW" thread rather than "PPP" and then there is this: Hey Katie....how's about you just report the news?
  2. All-Time: I was gonna say Lynn Swann, but Joe Namath is a pretty good candidate as well. Currently: I can think of three players. Michael Vick probably wins. Brett Favre. Although he had a great career. Ray Lewis. Yeah....a few years ago he was without question the greatest LB, but now? He is living on reputation.
  3. my thoughts are that....Mrs. Theodore is about to be a wealthy single mother.
  4. i went with First Downs. But would list QB Rating a close second.
  5. that is some funny stuff!
  6. Working for the Border Patrol I got 28 on my first try. Improved to 46 on my second try.
  7. i am far from writing the Bills off. i love what they did for the defense on draft day, and suspect they will do the same for the OL next year. I think the future looks very bright for the Bills. the original post was created based off my thought that sometimes QB debates cause lockeroom division. i think Nall will be a capable backup. I think Holcomb is a better QB than Losman right now, but you also have to consider the upside of Losman. again, i don't dislike either QB, i was just trying to see if anyone thought there would be a team tempted to offer a draft pick for either of them if that team had a need.
  8. i get all my information from R. Rich.
  9. Tom "kitty" Cousineau
  10. Dick Cheney
  11. thanks everyone. off to dinner with Mrs. OTR. she is treating me to my favorite local steak joint for dinner. (no pool party however )
  12. i believe so. i am not talking about him going into any of those situations and competing to be a starter.....but a definately think he is an upgrade to all those teams as a backup and stop gap starter for a week or two.
  13. So I was looking over the depth charts of some NFL teams and was wondering who might be a suitor for lets say, Kelly Holcomb should the Bills decide to go with Losman and let Nall be the back up....or if they feel it would be best to cut their losses with Losman if he doesn't look like he can get rid of the "deer in the headlights" look. I am not saying I don't like Holcomb or Losamn...I am just throwing this out there for discussion for a potential late training camp trade. The Bengals are in deeeeep caca if Carson Palmer, (A) doesn't come back 100% (B) gets hurt at any point in the season. Bengals QB Depth: Carson Palmer Anthony Wright Doug Johnson Dave Ragone Erik Meyer other teams with QB Depth problems: Panthers Jake Delhomme / Chris Weinke Browns Charlie Frye / Ken Dorsey Cowboys Drew Bledsoe / Tony Romo / Drew Henson Texans David Carr / Sage Rosenfels Chiefs Trent Green / Damon Huard Giants Eli Manning / Tim Hasselbeck / (RJ)
  14. i like Zach Thomas only because i play in a fantasy football league where we have individual defensive players. and i try to get him on my team every year. one slightly deceiving thought about him is he typically gets as many assists as he does solo tackles and i think when the NFL says he has 20 tackles in a game it might mean 10 solos and 10 assists. right from his rookie season, he has been a machine.
  15. players must hate the whole "modeling the new uniform" gig.
  16. the entire quote is open to interpretation. heck.,...the guy might think Helen Thomas is truly a "dreamy catch".
  17. sure but Bledsoe came off the bench against the Steelers and lead the team to the Super Bowl. that was a pretty impresive.
  18. my wife tells me all the time that my "longevity" makes me a HOFer in her eyes.
  19. let me ask you a question. is the classroom textbook where you learned about birth control? do you really believe that is where kids today learn about sex or birthcontrol....or abstinence for that matter?
